Josh Brolin was extremely well cast as Agent K. He did an excellent job of portraying the much younger agent than anyone else could possibly have done.

Whoever came up with that K and J tie in from the third act that K has been J's father figure since the beginning is my screenwriting hero. Because they had no idea after the first or second films they were doing this either and the twist was never planned. From my research they didn't have it planned for this movie or the original shooting script. But halfway through filming, they shut production down at great expense, to rewrite the third act which was the K and J connection all along climax. In a first for Hollywood, nobody has taken credit for where the idea came from or who had the light bulb moment. But, its the ultimate third film wrap up to a trilogy with a whopper of a reveal at the end of all time and nobody ever talks about it.

I personally love men in black 3, I love how it comes full circle with J's dad in the end. And the soundtrack with Empire State of mind, an absolute Banger of a song. I personally just saw it on video, rented it on Blu Ray I think and absolutely loved it. The time travel aspect I also thought was done really really well.

Boris the Animal is such a great villain, and Griffin might be my favorite side character in the whole franchise (yes, even above Frank the Pug, but not by much). The twist of Andy Warhol being an undercover MIB agent rather than an alien was also pretty hilarious and the time jump being a literal jump was creative, but I so wish we'd seen more of Emma Thompson.

So if I took the ending right Agent K has been watching over J his whole life making sure he's ok like a father and that's why he wanted him to join MIB and was Vouching for him in the first movie ? He couldn't have been there physically because J didn't remember anything about him. but he could've look at him like he was looking at his wife on the computer in the first movie. And made sure they didn't need money.

So glad it was still had that same formula of the first two but yet was able to expand on it. When it comes to MIB, I always look in the credits for Rick Baker doing the make-up and Bo Welch doing the production design. Now there is "MIB: International" with Chris Hemsworth and Tess Thompson, you be the judge of it.

I thought Brolin was genius at imitating Tommy Lee Jones. At TLJ age it really wasn't possible to really have a convincing action story like the other movies so it was a great plot device to get around that. 1.) When Boris went to that electronics store and took the time travel device from the son of the man who was on Lunar Max he then went back in time and Killed K then went back to present day and then went to the Asian restaurant where he faced older K and when Boris looked down off the side of the building after K and J fell with the door and said “You don’t know it K, but you’re already dead.” Because younger K was killed and it takes a bit of time for older him to be erased from existence. 2.) When J went to see K at his apartment and the woman and her kids were there, that woman was the Waitress from the Diner that J took his partner played by Patrick Warburton in the second movie to neuralyze him and he then told him to settle down and have a bunch of kids with the waitress which as you can see he did. 3.) When we see young Boris in 1969 and he interacts with 2 hippies, the girl hippie was played by the same actress who played the little girl at the post office in the second movie.
