This was so reassuring. I had lost all hope for men with microphones infront of them. The wisdom and humble strength these two men displayed is appreciated.

I'm loving the addition of the men to the podcast but I don't know if it's just me but there seems to be a technical issue with the addition of the new mics. Through headphones the audio is going back and forth between the left and right ear. Again it could just be me. Everything is still audible though.

I don't know about how yet but this episode convinced me that it's never to late to bring back a relationship and that I can be the one to reach out first A part of me always thought (and I'm still kinda feeling this way) that I spent so many years without having a proper relationship with my dad that I could continue on this path while being perfectly fine about it BUT seeing this kind of testimonies put so much into perspective "I wish I had that", "How can some fathers love and show so much love for their daughters but not mine?" and it'll be easy to stop at that and just make my dad at fault but I am also the one that can change the narrative (or at the very least try) Anyway, to all my girls right here I wish you to be able to heal your daddy issues and have the strength to believe that "it's never to late", that "we can still do it [...] that relationship is always there to be had" as Ije said 🤗🙏🏻 Never forget that at the end of the day, parents are just humans and that mistakes can be made Thank you for the amazing guests & to our big sisters as well 💟

I didn't want this episode to end! I wish my dad would have pivot from a inherited rigid parenting style and would have been more soft and less conforming to societal norms of how a black, african parent should raise their daughter. Although our bad relationship, tbis episode has given me hope and insight. Loved both guests' knowledge that they shared. This was truly an episode with lots of gems!
