I'm gonna guess northern lower?...this is exactly what I am looking to build... thats perfect...did you have any zoning issues to deal with with your build? Does your door have a gasket? If not may be able to add one come in various sizes and are cemented into place. Again looks awesome

Yes, northern lower. No, it's a deer blind in the middle of know where 😉. So, the stove looks like it's supposed to have some sort of gap there. But mines crooked. It also has the holes in the door. I'll take a look at your ideas. Btw: thank you!

Interesting comment. Please watch all my videos. Perhaps you will be satisfied to learn 99% of the lumber I used was either reclaimed lumber (already used and salvaged) or was cut from dead fall trees. Thank you for stopping by.

The thing is about these old baffleless stoves is all your heat goes up the chimney. just like a classic fireplace. a modern stove with baffles runs FAR hotter and just heats better and uses less wood. It's just how it is. If you have never tried a newer stove I highly advise trying one. Even an old used quadrafire would outrun this thing. And put out no smoke. I have a 93 quadra fire 3100. Great stove.

Gatchya. Thanks for clarifying, I misinterpreted your first comment. Ya, the stove does burn through the wood. It's probably just a step better than a burn barrel with a pipe.
