That first girl is crazy Trippin! That is literally something I look for in a man! I am an only child, and I’ve always wanted to be an aunt, so I’ve always wanted to marry somebody who had siblings so I could have the blessing of having either nieces or nephews. Plus in every relationship I’ve ever had. I’ve always became best friends with the mothers! The more I love the better.

I think she is misunderstood. She herself aint perfect but kids that grow up or partially grow up with just their mom have a higher chance of being crininals/addicted to substances. Its statistics. I lived like that. I know. And my friends are like that too... no wonder, we are self destructive people in a certain way. Growing without father discipline is... bound to make you act out.

I wish I had a mom like these women. It's such a shame how the majority of children nowadays (even my friends and myself) don't have such a loving and wonderful mother like them. It really does sadden me that my bf's family loves and cares for me so much more than my mother. Its why I usually sneak over to his house all the time because to me, it felt more like a family. Everyone chatting, laughing, having meals all together, not a single judgement or complaint was made whenever I was there. Whereas when I in my own household, my mother never speaks to me, never eats meals with me, never wants to spend some time with me and all I get is nothing but nags and hurtful things said to me like "I wished I never had kids" or "ur not my daughter". It also heartbreaks me just how little great mothers like my bf's mother and these mothers there are. I wish mothers would step up a bit more with their parenting.

My mom is absolutely amazing and a beautiful woman. She didn’t grow up in the nicest home and throughout her life she was constantly strong and brave. She met my dad in the Air Force and after my dad blundered a few times (that’s being generous by his own words) they eventually got together. My dad and mom lived hard lives and went through quite a lot and made extremely sure that my sister and I lived absolutely amazing childhoods often at her own expense. She and my dad organized get togethers with friends, costly birthday parties, video games, board games, toys and most importantly, love and kindness. Due to my mother’s harsh upbringing, her mind is wired in a way to be as cost efficient and unfrugitive as possible. Every time my sister and I would waste food or water, she keeps on thinking on other people who don’t have that and makes sure we know what we’re wasting. We don’t connect as much as either of us would like because we simply don’t have enough to talk about and I always feel like I have to do something that doesn’t involve leisure when she is around because she wants me to be as productive as possible. She doesn’t let a second go to waste and is always helping people or doing something productive to an extreme extent. I grew up with my mom being productive all the time so I’m used to it. My mom might be strict but it’s because she loves me and wants me to be the best I can be. My mom was never afraid of being the odd one out at family functions and is often the one to bring the cold truth to the table. My extended family see he as a black sheep but that doesn’t faze her as she knows what’s good for people and tells things as they are. Earlier when I brought my mom some tea, she said I’m a good son and it makes me so happy knowing that she thinks of me that way. (Writing this is making me cry. Idk why I’m crying.) I really love my Mom, my Dad and my sister and I would do anything for them. I’m growing up now. This is my last year at home. I want to spend more time with my family and let us experience our love for each other and hold pleasant company. I want to find things to talk about with my mom and do things with her. I love my mom.

I watched my mom die in the ICU, a couple years ago. She had a plethora of health problems, and we were all surprised she lived as long as she did. But, she got Covid. And didn’t tell anyone. And on Christmas 2020, we all got together as a family. She gave everyone Covid, and so we were all pissed at her for it. A couple days later my dad and I took her to the hospital, and on New Year’s Eve, she had a stroke, and died. I never saw her in the hospital this last time, and hadn’t told her I loved her. The hospital staff kept her on a ventilator, so my dad and I could say bye. My other brothers all lived out of state, so they couldn’t make it. I had so much regret, and lost my shit, when they took her off the ventilator. Almost punched out a nurse, because I have asthma, and need to take off my mask to breathe, and she kept yelling at me to put it back on. Anyways… in no way, is having a mom a red flag. I miss mine.

I’m an older sister in a family of three that has me, my mom, and my brother. It absolutely hurt to hear that first woman say that. My mom has given my brother the WORLD. She did such a great job raising him. He’s nice to his family and friends, he treats girls properly, AND HAS MANNERS. I love my brother. I’d do anything to protect him. While he pisses me off, he’s still my one and only brother. Idk if this is me going “big sister mode” but omfg god what that lady said absolutely shocked me. As i’ve seen it, men who have sisters and mothers know better than anyone on how to treat a woman properly.
