Tbh in my experience guys that don't have great looks are usually the most lovable. They don't have the looks so they do their best personality wise, and that's exactly the reason why I ended up dating only not so good looking boys or straight up ugly boys in middle school - because they treat you right. Not all of them, but most of them
@DefeatLust

@@anaising1753 It can work the opposite way too. The unattractive male/female gets treated poorly and thus starts acting poorly to others. Regardless, treat everyone with love. Many of them I thought were beautiful when we were dating bc I had feelings for them and their personalities shone through. Looking back at it tho, I realize I was actually never attracted to them physically, and entirely dated them for their personality, then realized before getting to know them I actually thought they were not attractive. It was in middle school, these comments are anonymous, I don't see how I would be insulting them by telling what I thought as a teenager. @@DefeatLust that's so true, I've been bullied a bunch, and you are right, bullies when treated with kindness can end up regreting their own actions and even apologize. They see their own mistakes. People who bullied me when I was a kid don't remember doing so tho, so I learnt the most valuable tools in life are both compassion and forgiveness, they allow you to both understand the people around you, yourself, and move on from your past, wether the people who hurt you let you do it or not. And I agree with you conventionally unattractive people are probably that nice because it would be way too tough for them if they weren't; constantly feeling as though they aren't enough, or matter, having to be 10× better than conventionally attractive people to get even an ounce of the praise and love attractive people get, and sometimes even get bullied just for looking a certain way. I hope it changes someday, and I hope to be part of that change

As a woman, this made me tear up. It's heartbreaking for these men that its seen as showing emotion is a weakness. It made me feel kinda selfish, i'm always feeling sorry for myself bc I have no one to talk to. I have no one to express my emotions with. I'm empty. It feels like there are more reasons to die than live. But these people gave me some sort of strength. So many people go thro this. But they can't talk about it. They can't express it. Ik how it is to bottle up your emotions and then just explode. This shouldn't be seen as weak. This is being human. To anyone here, to anyone miserable. I believe than your strength, your kindness and you waking up everyday is amazing. That is sensational. You should be proud to still be here. You are a person, YOU are an amazing, pretty, stunning, smart person. I know there are comments all over the internet like this but its true. In a cruel, harsh world, being kind, being thoughtful, being respectful, being responsible is extremely brave and inspiring. We only live once. I hope you find a reason to keep on walking. If its not feeling like you have talent, I don't really believe in natural talent. Its hardwork and determination. With a dream and a imagination you an aspire to be anything. In life, the best thing you can do is try. Start small, step by step. Maybe wake up 5mins earlier. Or listen to your favourite music. Find your passion. Find your spark and stick with that. Try to focus on one thing. And if you're not a CEO and whatnot, that's not important. Its about happiness and family. Its about charisma and respect. Your spark, your happiness is your reason to live. You are here for a reason. No matter what it is, your purpose will come. Your opportunity will come if you don't lose faith. Don't lose hope.

My friend I served with in Afghanistan commited suicide 3 weeks ago. We were talking on the phone about family and everything seemed normal at first. About half way in the call his mood switched from chill to sad, he said he loves me and the guys (rest of the friends that served with us). Right after I heard him tapping on the screen (he must have been shaking trying to hang up). And then bang. He shot himself with me on the phone. I will never forget you man. 🕊🇺🇲

You get there by doing nothing to maintain your friends. I'm a woman. And I'm gonna give you some perspective and you and everyone on here can take it however you want. I have a lot of male friends. Do you know why? Because I am the one who constantly reaches out and puts in the emotional energy to maintain our friendships. If I stopped texting them and stopped inviting them to events and game nights and even video game sessions on discord, I would probably never hear from them again. Men put in zero emotional energy for their relationships. It's why when a dude gets a girlfriend, he disappears off the face of the planet. Because men have the emotional energy for like one relationship with one person who will basically do all the work for them. Go out and make some friends. Or reach out to some friends you probably haven't bothered to talk to. It's sucky as hell to be the only one putting effort in to relationships. But as a man, which I assume you are because this channel is targeting men, you simply have to put in the energy that other men refuse to. Otherwise, you'll be alone. It sucks. It's something that the patriarchy does that 100% hurts men and causes isolation. But it's just the way shit is. I get so sick of being the only one who makes plans, who invites people over, who remembers everyone else's birthdays- just to have the dudes I'm friends with just do nothing. But that's just the nature of men.

Ephesians 6:10-18 says, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. The bible is no old book. You have to really let Christ open your eyes; to see the world in shambles. Many people say it's a religion to lock up people in chains, and say it's a rule book.. why? Because people hate hearing the truth, it hurts their flesh, it's hurts their pride, it's exposes on what things have they done..people love this world so much, s*x, money, power, women, supercars.. things of this world. Still trying to find something that can fill that emptiness in your heart. You can't find that in this world.. only in Christ, the bible is no chains, it's a chainbreaker. Breaking your sins into pieces... Repent now, and turn back to the true Lord only.. God bless.😊

We appreciate you 👍🏼 I was kind of raised by a single mom and growing up even she used to tell me "crying is for queers" etc. and sometimes us men get so far down that mindset we forget that crying is okay sometimes. Some nights I cry for the brothers that I lost in Afghanistan, it took me a decade to be able to say that to another person.
@kitcat2449
7 ай бұрын
@@Joe_Bidens_hair_fetish I'm sorry your mom wasn’t supportive of your feelings. I find that mindset odd, because crying is a natural stress reliever. It releases oxytocin and endorphins, which naturally calm your body and make you feel a little better, so even from a biological side crying is good, it exists for a reason. Just like women, men are not robots. It's very human to feel distress and cry. Emotions makes us human. Every single one of us go through struggles and it's okay to feel upset by those struggles. Crying doesn’t mean you aren't capable of handling your issues and finding ways to cope. I'm truly sorry for your loss, but I'm happy you can be more open about that now. Losing loved ones is always hard, the ones who judge you for feeling upset over that are the ones who should change their behavior and mindset. Stay safe.

Thing is, though, us men will have our mental health worsened with the bullying from showing our emotions. I kinda just shut my emotions down. I grew up (or still am growing up) in a house with 6 brothers, starting from 18 to 4 years old, I've started to realize that men don't get treated the right way in society, there are men with no friends, no girlfriend, no wife, with disabilities and mental disorders, and nobody is there for them at all. My father and my oldest brother have depression, my brother has autism but it doesn't show he's very good at masking it, they are the greatest men I've ever met in my life, I'm so damn glad to have a father who loves me and a brother who is 18 and still fucking cares for me, I know how much others boys and girls in this world long for that. We need to appreciate men more, they work for us, love us, be there for us in our time of need, and we just seem to not care. We need to love more, care more, appreciate and recognize the work these men put into this world, this terrible, sick world... To all the men or boys that read this, you are loved and God loves you no matter what. God bless all men.

It’s all about finding someone who truly loves you. Social media has poisoned men into thinking that we need supermodel women to be happy. And the truth is that we don’t need looks, what we need is personality, and that is the best measure of true beauty. Keep your heads up kings. Stay strong and patient and you will find someone who truly loves you. At that point you will be happy. Always remember that your love for someone supersedes their appearance and that’s what’s most important, always.

The horse will never drink on it's own. The drug addict won't go to rehabilitation on a whim. We need help from others, but so few know how to give the right help. We need someone to show us a path we didn't know was there. We need to know that it's possible for us to walk that path. We need a reason to walk that path. That's what grace is, a gift from the world, when life gives back. My point is that you can't create meaning or motivation in a vacuum. You could be Tom Hanks stranded on an isolated island with an endless supply of coconuts, but Wilson will never be enough. I believe that a man's value isn't inherent. Men must work for their value. Purpose isn't glorious or comfortable, it's hard work. It's the work we do for others, but when nobody appreciates or respects you, then what's the point? "Fuck them," you say. You begin to wonder if you can trust or rely on anyone besides yourself. The answer is No. That path never works out well, but what are you left with? You can't force that perfect life of you settling down with a wife and children in a happy home that you fully own. All you're doing is grieving a life you can never live and suffering in a pit of isolation, as these men are.

@EOTWdevice agreed, she can sing. I play When The Party's Over on piano, my favorite to play. But that was 100% fully in context, as well as later when she said "men can look however they want and nobody says anything" and then went on to the effect that there are no beauty standards for men. I like her as an artist, but she's a raging misandrist as a person

For those who don't know, The clip from the podcast was a joke. Roman Atwood's (creator of podcast) brand is smile more and so his guest, who is acting, pranked him by acting offended and storming off the set. After that, the podcast continued for another 45 minutes.

I lost my fiance, had my car totalled in an accident, spending the next four months in physical therapy to walk again, my home of 20 years burnt down to a total loss. This all happened from the span of December last year till now. The housefire was January 16th.. accident was late December. I wasnt able to walk for a while, i barely can now. And people tell me to smile. To be happy for what i have, how lucky i am to be alive. When i have literally. Lost. Everything. And no one has any no idea how hard it actually is to build your life back up from nothing, to even get out of bed somedays... be happy for yourself with how fast you can loose everything. It doesnt actually get easier. You just keep going..

This may be off topic, but I have I message I would like to share with you: Repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming back, so be prepared. He is the only way to salvation, the only one who can save you from hell. Accept Jesus today, and repent (Luke 13:3). Don’t be lukewarm, you have to be 100% committed (Revelation 3:15-16). i think a lot of people may also be mistakenly only looking for this through romantic relationships, but the people who can act as your emotional anchor in life can also be your friends, male and female. maybe try making more meaningful friendships, or just make the ones you already have more supportive and open. sounds obvious but so many people think a romantic relationship is the only avenue to being 'fixed' and feeling loved.
