I remember Koko the gorilla, she understood sign language, Robin Williams met her, and they’d had an amazing time playing together. And the biggest thing they’d bonded over was laughter. Whether it be through tickling or Jokes, he’d thought she was really funny, and she knew he was too. When he died, they told Koko, and it absolutely broke her heart. I remember hearing somewhere for the last years of her life, she was depressed, she’s made a friend, and now she couldn’t speak to him anymore, can’t see him. Rest in peace Robin, we all loved him.

A 20 year old here. I've heard this "suicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems" a long time ago. While I never actually planned to take my own life, I seriously thought about who would even miss me besides my parents. Got no friends, no apparent real family (except, again, my parents), minimal-to-no joy in life (I'm not invited to parties ever, not to any trips...) and so on... Going through elementary, high school and college now on my own with no one to talk to, no one to share my problems with, no one to consider a friend really. It messes me up as an individual because I see no happy tomorrows, no happy endings, no excitement whatsoever in my life. I'm not writing this so people can pity me and try and make me feel better, I'm writing simply because if there is someone like me - I'd like him/her to know that he/she is absolutely killing it! While I never got a compliment from anyone really, I hope this one makes you rethink your life choices and stray you on a brighter path. Loneliness is a bitch. You grow in it, but you suffer more. I hope nobody ever goes through this.

To you, I am just a screen. A comment that will be forgotten in an hour or two. But know, that before I go to bed tonight, that i am glad to have read your story. I will not know you, what you look like, or your name. But understand, that I love and care for you unconditionally. It may be a weakness, my parents always told me I reflect on too much, that I am too busy inside my head rather than focusing on what is in front of me but I don't regret this personality of mine. Because I will cry for your pain, your struggle, your death Because I will smile for your happiness, your growth, and your life. We live in a society that is determined to set us apart, make us only see the differences between us rather than the similarities. Regardless, you will be missed by me. This is not pity, this is truth. I constantly think about everyone who feels lonely, who are struggling, who are sad. Before you were born, I celebrated your birth, and when it comes, I will mourn your death. Know that you'll forever be loved by me, that I have loved you since yesterday, I love you today, and I will love you tomorrow. I hope that you find peace, and you are able to find the necessary strength to take one more step. Child...I've spent 19 years of my life doing what you wish to do, I suffered a lot, and lost a lot of friends to suicide and everyday I wish to be better and help people, heal people and care for those who don't have anyone, for a majority of my life I was told that I can't help everyone, and that some people can't be helped, but no matter what someone says there is also the option to try, you won't know unless you try, and throughout my life I have never seen anyone like me, people care more for lust or greed or themselves rather than others, while I care for everyone both good and bad, everyone deserves love, keep it up child, I believe in you, I trust in you, do what makes you happy, and help and heal those who need it, be the hero people need, not all heros wear capes, some just need to talk to save them, good day and good luck ❤

What he said about not talking to people. So true. The lesson isn’t about not talking to strangers, it’s learning Which strangers to talk to, and How to talk to them. That’s how we build our biological compass’s that navigate us through life! I’m not exactly a life coach, but tell me you get me.

The people that seem the happiest, are usually the ones hurting the most. Check in on your friends yall. Especially if you notice a change in the way they act, carry themselves or talk. Even the topics they bring up could be a slight indication. Depression sucks.. don't let it get the better of you. RIP Robin Williams. He was one hell of an actor.

Robin Williams is one of my favorite, if not my absolute favorite, actors and comedians of all times. And hearing him say, "If you're that depressed, REACH OUT TO SOMEONE! And remember, *uicide is a permanent solution to temporary problems," knowing he himself committed *uicide because of his depression nearly made me break down crying. 😢 Rest in peace, you beautiful, wonderful man. I hope you're up there in God's arms, happy and making everyone else there smile with your ingenious humor.

I was telling her the plot of the movie, and then, she announced me the death of Robin Williams. I cried so hard I couldn’t breathe. Robin Williams was and still is my favorite actor of all time.
