A continuation of a little private job using a clients Menzi Muck A91, this time using it to alter some work done by other people.
The job entailed placing pipes in existing ditches and building a small access road over the top, this involved some altering of pipe runs and re-opening a curved ditch with some shaping to the spoil and then exposing the pipes that run under the road and setting them deeper as well as doubling up on the pipes to avoid any chances of it flooding during heavy rain as it was to be a scenic way in to the property able to be used all year round despite the roads small size
Again the machine has no proportional tilt and rotate functions on the tilt rotator so doing otherwise delicate jobs like moving concrete pipes around was particularly jerky and nowhere near as enjoyable to use as the "full works" model but the job got done and that's what counts at the end of the day, the client had a decent stash of pre-loved concrete pipes so it wasn't the end of the world if a couple got bust (and they did truth be told, especially after being set in the ground once before all ready)
Also the amount of obstacles in the job site such as over hanging tree branches made for some interesting shapes being thrown especially when you take into consideration how bigger footprint an A91 actually has when working on the floor and this isn't really that visible from the camera angle here
This video is a tad longer than usual but i often get asked for the longer videos so if you just want to see the end result skip along to the end for some pictures of the finished article
