Hi, Marty :) Thank you so much for making and sharing this video!! I love your speaking style-very natural, easy to understand and you add lots of great details in your words to describe extremely well exactly what you are doing (ways to move things, how hard to pull things, warnings what to be gentle with and careful not to break, etc.)! You are exceptionally skilled and generous to share your knowledge! Thank you so much! One tip, improvement suggestion I discovered removing the radiator of my 2007 C230 Sport-you can leave the two hood latches in place on the upper radiator metal support (each attached with 2 10-millimeter bolts) and simply flip/turn the piece out of the way to the right side, hinging along the latch release cables. No need to remove or disassemble them! Thanks again so much!

Super helpful video that I will bookmark. No annoying music in the background and lots of helpful lighting. Also, it is very helpful for you to show us how some minor issues can happen like that fitting coming off but it not being the end of the world. I really like your "third hand" solution to holding the bracket open. Thank you so much sir! Update: 5/22/2023: Followed all steps and nothing is leaking! Those metal/transmission fluid pipes are kind of stubborn so be sure to pull those clips out far. I went with a Nissen radiator and everything snapped together.

Removing radiator header and grill will create a lot more room. There are two nuts at bumper support. Transmission cooler lines need to be unmounted. Radiator support can then be moved out of the way. I did this on my C55 (same front end as CLK500) when removing fan to gain enough clearance to lift alternator out.

What store could I get that adapater from? Do you know the size? I think my radiator might be leaking from there.

@@Marty09933 I was talking about the upper hose connector that you said in the video you can disconnect and replace from a store for ~$5 but I ended up buying the radiator just to get it over with. I have been working on so many problems with the clk500 for the past 2 months. I got screwed from a used car dealer I bought it from. But, I appreciate the DIY video because I will be doing that this weekend.

@@abele1488 dang sorry to hear about that. Yeah them dealers can be real jerks. I had the same problem with the 2007 BMW ran good for six months and then I had to work on it every month piece of junk. I’m done with Bmw Plus my 2011 BMW wasn’t as bad but at the end the motor locked up on me so Ive gone back to American cars Dodge ,Chevy I’m done with the BMWs hope you get it running good brother

@@Marty09933 hello, it took my day to change 🙂 there are 4 plastics which holding the radiator. 2 from sides, 2 from going inside from downside corners. So hard to get rid. Mine was clk200 kompressor. Thank you for your great and rare tutorial. 🙂
