W205/S205 have 2 cabin filters, one under the scuttle panel next to the battery, that’s a cheaper one, and the one under the left hand foot well is a fine particulate filter which is more expensive

Thanks so much for sharing this, you really helped. This year I'm having to DIY because the cost of living situation is crazy, insurance went up by 50% despite an extra year of no claims bonus and zero claims, no points either and nothing in the claim history. The car is now 8 years old so it's pointless paying a mechanic for a super expensive service. I continue to use my local for MOT and other things like brake and fuel, etc. But this I can do myself. £100 for a 9L oil vacuum like yours from ECP. The rest of the components was just shy of £100. I won't change the cabin filter under the footwell, my car barely has been used since the lockdowns so after watching yours mine should be new... this service is so easy with the vacuum. Also don't see the point of jacking up the car and dealing with sump draining, oil filters are supposed to catch and trap particles so it doesn't matter what is at the bottom of the sump, it will be sucked out by the vac and what's left will be trapped by the filter.

The filter that they gave you goes under the scuttle panel near the battery and. The one inside is a more expensive one

The number for oil grade on service reset means long life 30k or short life 12k service intervals 👍
