A live performance, no one in Nashville , can sound this good, even with all of studio enhancements they have today.

So true. Back then you had to have a great voice to sing with. Merle could " Sing Me Back Home " & I could close my eyes and be there. He ran his own Facebook page himself. He was such an Amazing Man. My daddy kept a 8 Track of his in his car & listened to it often.

Merles the best ever. He could tell a story so well you knew it was about his life evan when it wasn't. He could use his voice in so many ways to give you the feelings of the song. Thats why as Merle would say I'm lea learning to play his music so I can pass it on.Rip merle miss you every day.

Love this song and OMG I just listened to Max Flinn's cover of Today I Started Loving You Again, Merle left some pretty big shoes to fill but it's nice to hear some new artists that sound like old country! Merle was the champion of the underdogs, he loved supporting young artists.
l agree with you, indeed Merle Haggard is a great and talented artist who's songs never goes out of style,he's one of my favorites artist, he songs still and always heals the Soul, I pray God gives you lot of beautiful days.
