Designing Women wouldn't have been so successful if it wasn't for Meshach and Delta. The chemistry between them was great as actors. I still watch that show and it makes me laugh and smile especially when Meshach is playing Anthony. Sometimes I will cry because I know he's gone. Also, seeing Dixie Carter knowing she's gone as well. Thank you Meshach for the gift of laughter. May you Rest In Eternal Peace. God Bless the family. My all time favorite show, DESIGNING WOMEN!

Such a funny, funny, kind man. Years ago, I was roaming around Hollywood with a couple of friends. A van pulled up in front of Mann's, asking if anyone would like to go to a live taping. Of course, we said that we would. When we walked into the studio, I realized that it was Designing Women. What you don't see on TV was the wonderful interaction between the actors and the cast between takes. Meshach turned to the audience at several points in the show, to joke with us and generally make us feel very welcome. He was a warm human being. He did so much to make the experience great. I loved that man, and the show. Long live Hollywood Montrose.

Out of the blue, Meshach Taylor popped into my mind today. I had no idea he and Joe Mantegna were friends, let alone such good (best?) friends. I've wished Joe Mantegna was my father since I was a little girl in the 80s (I didn't really have one). I just love his voice, how handsome he is, his mannerisms, etc. I enjoyed watching this, it shows me that in real-life Mr. Mantegna really is a decent, loyal, kind man, like I'd always thought he must be, watching him in films growing up. How nice that he and Mr. Taylor had such a wonderful, normal, beautiful friendship in the crazy place that is Hollywood.

I know the moment he graduated to Heaven and came face to face with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was absolutely glorious. Simply beyond our expectations and imagination. To hear the words of “ Well done good and faithful servant “ from Jesus Christ- Yeshua Ha Mashiach. Joe , His Holy Name is Yahweh God the Father. He showed himself to you - twice now. God bless.
