For anyone paying even a modicum of attention to what's popular and what doesn't catch on, it seems really obvious that extreme music will never break into the mainstream. They've been one of my fav bands since around 2001, but I guess I'm equally baffled by the superiority people feel by being aware of a band before they became popular. @ratkebab9536

@@rockyevans1584 I disagree, I think they could make some bangers and it gets people into meshuggah, if it's done right it'll sound more like meshuggah than polyphia so it doesn't take any meaning from meshuggah's work and name (not that it would if it sounded more like polyphia, just nerds will whine and gatekeep)
@rockyevans1584

@@ratkebab9536 I disagreed with the idea that a group of 50 year old established metal musicians would reach out to the super young math rockers. I'm sure they could make some cool music melding styles, but it's a little bit like Billie Eilish joining necrophagist to collab, sounds like in your hurry to whine you completely missed what I was saying. Damn near every prog band has taken from meshuggahs style, of course polyphia would be stoked to write with the old Swedish bastards and I can understand them being reluctant to force anything. I'd love to see them touring together, that may be the best chance for them to start throwing ideas together. Hope it happens
