For years, I've been using a similar zipper sinnet to store a 30 foot loop of 1" webbing in the pocket of my firefighting pants. Deploys fast and easy for all types of things like dragging a victim out of a building, using the webbing to tie open a door, or even as a bailout rope through a window.

There aren’t a lot of things as satisfying as pulling out a daisy chain-like wrap of paracord…

an overlapping chrochet... I usually just crochet then crochet the crochet it comes off in a single strand instead of this double-double works for ropes as well but this is neat too!

I use bundled up paracord on hikes, but made quick release cords when I broke my foot to pass the time. It keeps the sanity... Most of the times, I use paracord while hiking, as a shoelace fix. Also keep a lighter in a watertight container/bag, and you'll walk comfy once again.

I’m looking for a design that I can use as a compact lanyard for a knife. If I need to deploy the knife I want to have the lanyard hold the knife in case I can’t put the knife back in the holster right away. This is for emergency use while kayaking. I have seen some folks use a coil lanyard, but I’m looking for something more compact and resistant to sea water.

I use this for tying up my webbing, call it the lobster tail knot because it makes the flat webbing kind of curl like a (you guessed it) “lobster tail”
