Several of my videos have been on youtube for 10 years. The modeling media do not promote my work because they make money not only through advertising, but also through the promotion of kits, accessories, tooling and paints in articles uploaded by the common modeler. With my models they can't earn a penny: no kits, no accessories, no paint promotion.

I enjoy the finished projects, however the journey is much more fun than the destination. Many people ask how I do many of the things they see, and I’ve been reluctant to tell since they are not going to try. But I’m intrigued by the thought of such incites as yours. Darryl, I need to publish a book or a video tutorial because it is a lot of people who write me for more than 30 years asking questions about my techniques. And without exaggeration, there are many hundreds of modellers from different countries who ask me for advice for more than 30 years. My work became known worldwide in 1990 when I started building models for an aviation art gallery in London during the 50 anniversary of the Battle of Britain . Since then articles about my models have been published in magazines and newspapers of five different countries (you can check all this on my website, link "International Press"). In 2004 I launched my webpage and in 2010 I opened my own KZitem channel. As a professional model maker, if I had to answer every email I receive, I could never devote to my work. That's why the only solution is to publish a book (although I'm preparing it slowly because I don't have enough time). Thank you for watching my videos.

With all of these micro V12 engines people are building-I wonder about the possibility of building an authentic miniature such as this with a real internal combustion DB V12...granted-a scale model such as this would be wayyy to heavy to take flight-but would still be neat to hear the thing run and look as amazing as it does.

I compare several three-view drawings with each other and then make my own plans. I work as the old fashion; I feel so much more comfortable with the paper drawings and not inside a monitor screen. 3D CAD software does not work miracles (as many people think) if the information provided (in this case a 3-view drawings) is not correct; I am tired of checking that. I know a couple of craftsmen who have built similar models in metal, but they have built very few models. Many modelers are able to build something similar, but they don´t know it because the plastic model kits industry, magazines and websites related to scale aircraft modelling, continually reminds them that they need plastic kits and aftermarket accesories to build (assemble) models. Their message is: ¨You are not able to build a model using your brain and your hands. You MUST BUY...¨ A pity!

Anyway this kind of models (for museums and collectors) could not fly because they are built on small scales in relation to the excessive weight (power to weight ratio).
