A lot of people don't realize the magnitude of what Gaius does there. Giving someone a hug is yes a sign of care and love. But to put your hand behind their head while doing so is a sign of a deeper affection, love and equally, comfort. And so to have our Lord and Savior, our Comforter be comforted back really makes that final scene that more important.

Needs is s strong word. He feels sad and beaten. A hug feels good. Friendship feels good. The only reason God does any of this is because he deeply desires that hug. He doesn't need it. But without it there would be no real relationship, and relationship is, in my humble opinion, why God creates in the first place. God puts himself in the story, in order to build true relationships.

Jesus is not his father he's not God but he is the son of God. God, Jesus and thw Holy spirit are of course all interconnected but this is where Christians get it all misunderstood. God is the creator the father and his power is called the Holy Spirit while Jesus is his son.

Gaius conversion was one of the most beautiful and moving conversion in the chosen and in the bible too. They built up his character to the climax of Gentile faith coming to Yeshua, the King of kings and Lord of lords. His allegiance to Jesus revealed a beautiful picture of the true Kingdom to come. No Jews, no Gentile, neither male nor female, neither rich nor poor, neither free nor slaves. The Kingdom is available for everyone. Blessed is he who comes in the Name of the Lord.

Haven't finished this video yet. I just wanted to make this comment while it's fresh in my mind. When my mom died 2 yrs ago, even in the middle of my grief, I was praising God. My mom was a wonderful, caring, and giving person, and I was sitting by her side when she left this realm. I had to praise God because she was diagnosed with cancer on Feb. 22nd and passed on Feb 26th. God, in all his glory, took this beautiful lady home so she would not have to feel the pain of this disease, and for that, I praise God. Even though I still morn today, I know she is not truly dead. I am a follower of Christ. He has already paid the price for us all. There is only life now. It's life here in this realm of the physical or life in heaven in the spirit. Jesus over came the grave for us so that we may only know life. So I'm not afraid to "die" as I know that it is just my physical body coming to an end. My spiritual body will live on in Heaven with my Lord! This was placed on my heart to share this right now because someone really needs to hear this. Praise God in all things, even when it's hard. Especially when it's hard. May God bless you all.

Hi Patricia, Even though its been 2 yrs ago, I'm sorry for the loss of your Mother. I do have a question about something you said. You said "I am a follower of Christ. He has already paid the price for us all. There is only life now." Are you saying I am going to heaven because Christ already paid the price for me? Do I have to do anything?
@patriciaposthumus6684
22 күн бұрын
@SaveThePerishing if you are a follower of His, if you know and truly believe that He is God's son, then yes, you are going to heaven. You really don't have to do anything except believe. Follow God's laws in the 10 Commandments and the 1 law He set in the New Testament. Love thy neighbor as yourself. Basically, it's the golden rule. Do unto others as you would have done to you. In other words, treat everybody how you want to be treated. What makes you worried that you might not be going to heaven? Jesus even said that He is the way, the truth, and the light. All you have to do is follow Him.

3:00 "militae mutatio" was a punishment detail that performed demeaning or inferior jobs like clearing the enemy dead, cleaning animal stables, etc. He was, essentially, busted down to private. also "Festina lente" can be closely translated as "more haste, less speed". Wikipedia states "The meaning of the phrase is that activities should be performed with a proper balance of urgency and diligence. If tasks are rushed too quickly then mistakes are made and good long-term results are not achieved. Work is best done in a state of flow in which one is fully engaged by the task and there is no sense of time passing."
