My father had an air/acetylene plumbers set like that Dave. It was made in the 50's. He could solder plumbing filled with water. I never looked into it like you did, they do make them but not the quality as the old ones IMHO. Great home shop repair project saving a great tool! Love the welding & brazing book...metals handbook is a great serries! Dave if you read that whole book you will be a WELDING EGG HEAD like I am lol!

G'day Mr Dave, Isn't it great using tools that your dad once used and to be able to maintain them. And in your case actually being able to manufacture parts to keep them going. That book will be great for the workshop library. So thanks for sharing a great video. ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.

I enjoy these style videos, It's a great way to share all the little things you are working on in the shop and keeps it feeling personal, Like hanging out in the garage with friends. You found a perfect little toolbox for your welding cart. Those Metals Handbooks are full of great reference materials. Cheers, nice one.

Interesting video Dave very enjoyable. Kind of like a tips and tricks video which I also enjoy. As far as the music goes you can skip it all together. To me it's just a distraction. Thanks for the video.

Running out of content? Don't make me laugh. If you just show your face people will tune in. I'm a retired machinist and started watching your channel for the machining projects. But just watching you messin in the shop, works. Thanks for sharing.
