This seems like an ad like other people have said, but also, this product has great potential. As far as people saying this will replace the smartphone, I don't think that's going to happen simply because the smartphone is an object that is very intuitive in how it is used. We can all understand how to use a touch screen, and without a surface to touch, and just waving your hands in the air, it's a whole other way of interacting that people may not know its shortcomings until they give it a try. It's too early to tell.

0:16 i dont care about anyones opinions on the orion other than this man right here. That is Jensen Huang, the CEO of Nvidia, a company that is neck and neck with Apple when it comes to net worth. If he likes it, then were going to be getting them rather quickly as a consumer device.

taking a video call but if you have only the glasses, how do you film yourself ? It's because the other one still has a laptop or phone camera to film himself that he was able to showcase this video call.

I do appreciate invention made by Indian and other asia country but today is the US that innovate something great such as AR/VR device. Just try it with good software and you'll be amazed for 3 or plus years

"Flops" LMAO.. 0:16 that is fucking Jensen Huang, leader of Nvidia, giving these praise! if he came off disappointed then yes this would be a "flop", but he's impressed, which means these are about to take over the market as new wearable tech. Good luck living under a rock 😂

The aesthetics of the glasses are dismal. He could've made the glasses look cool, more sporty and futuristic, rather than thick nerdy glasses. From a fashion perspective, who the heck wants to be walking around with those ugly, thick, nerd glasses? Not me. We all have to look like nerds now to benefit from this technology?

Is a prototype which means is not available to be bought at the store. I'm a picky tech person and paying around or more than $500 for a smartphone is just a scam. $10,000 for the most advanced prototype device is pretty reasonable. Try to make a fully function AR device in glasses form yourself before you judge 😂

To make everything clear for those who currently wear glasses to be able to see clearly. I wish they could come out with auto adjusting glasses for everyday use for the world so you wouldn't have to keep getting other pairs.

This is a dead end. All they do is they replicate uselessly and at a very high cost the existing functions of the human body outside of it. The focus should be on how to access the existing body functions themsleves by integrating tech into things like the optic or the acoustic nerve, utilising the already existing "bio-hardware".

I see you have never tried AR/VR, unlike any other device that existed, the more you learn about it, the more you'll be amazed of how great the potentially it can bring. I have a Quest 2 for almost 3 years and I have yet to experience its 5% potential. Making fully functioned AR on a pair of glassses is no small feat
@Mental_Hangover

@@toututu2993Yeah, I tried on my first VR in 1996; what about you? 😁 Also, with its current functionality, if you can call it that at all, it is just piece of wow gear, nothing else. It is missing out on so much connectivity, it is so much unsupported that it offers no real use. And even when it will be improved vastly, this put-on-glass technology will still be a dead end. Technology should be focused on making neurolink happen, not these bulky aliens strapped on your face LoL...
@toututu2993

@@Mental_Hangover There is no proper real vr in the 90th. If your talking about VirtualBoy then it is just a 3d glasses toy. You absolutely have no clue of what your talking about. You're only validating my point that you had zero experience in AR/VR. I used to think VR is gimmick until I bought Quest 2 and still wowed for 3 years of owning and using it. Neurolink is just a fantasy impossible technology just like time travel machine
