Went back to a new site I been to a few times this year and dug up a couple of old gold rings along with other time period items from the early 1900's.
I love how many treasure hunters say they have found a child's ring. LOL. I know I wouldn't give my child an expensive ring. I am a grown woman and my ring size is 4 1/2. Trust me its a woman's ring. Great hunt!!

I really enjoy your videos! Your ability to find these Awesome places to hunt is unreal. I still haven't come across a video more helpful than the one ya made about finding places to detect!!, so thanx again for that video. Wondering if there is any way you could make a video of yourself actually asking for a permission to hunt? I realize it might be awkward. But man it would be helpful to watch & learn! I don't know of any other channels that has done one. & I watch LOTS OF THEM!! Ha! I think a lot of people could benefit from watching how you approach t!! Any was thanx for making & sharing these videos.

I have one from last year .. Look for metal detecting permissions . Its the video with the big old white house for the thumb nail. I actually wanted to get a couple of no's to show how I might be able to get them to say yes but it should give you an idea on how to ask

Hey thanx for replying! super helpful stuff!! I really think that not feeling comfortable asking for permissions, is the biggest problem/obstacle that many/most peps deal with!? especially when starting out!! can only hunt your own yard so much B~4 that enthusiasm starts weaning! : )

After the firs couple times asking the shyness will wear off ! I started by driving around looking for people outside then I would stop and approach them , then I said screw it one day and went to the door of one , the worse that would happen is they will say no .. You will be surprised on how many will say yes , some are curious to see what you find ..

Hold your finds steady ,so the viewer can see the item also . When you twist and turn and leave your fingers in the way it’s hard to focus on what the find is .

Well, as I expected, more wonderful finds from the river. I recently tried a river hunt, but you forgot to mention current. I could hardly swing the detector? WTH? Haha Anyhow, I started fishing for fish..oh Yeah, Beautiful Brown Trout on third cast. Keep hitting it Tom.

I am very sorry you whenever you find something and you hold up to the camera in your looking through the same Camera viewer or screen and it is clear enough for you to see any date and the only reason I am mentioning this is you couldn't see the number 26 on the ring animals right there in front of you I really do not know what date this particular video came on KZitem but I sincerely hope that you did get your eyes checked and get some glasses now I can understand some of today's like the 1912 penny or the 1886 Indian Head pennies those were pretty worn but I did not put this out to make you mad or to be a pain in your side I was just kind of mentioning this because you kept own 2nd guessing yourself rather than pain close attention the 1st time I'm sorry if I might have disappointed you as a viewer
@hiluxyota7200
5 жыл бұрын
Yes , I cant see small numbers or letters close up .. the camera helps magnify what I am showing and I also try to let the viewers see the date when I see it , But once uploaded the dates seem more clear then in real time . Someday I will get my vision fixed !!

Why do guys rub the hell and scratch the old coins up more!
@hiluxyota7200
7 жыл бұрын
These coins are scratched and tarnished from the sand and rocks. So wiping the water off of a wet nickel that's worth 25 cents if that , is not going to hurt it anymore than it came out.

Great video. I'm pretty sure that the A&S stamp on the signet ring stands for Attwood and Sawyer of London, England. The company was founded in 1956 by Horace Attwood (Sawyer was a silent partner) The 'A&S' mark was used from 1976 - 2003 Cheers
