31 years of fun, life changing, and amazing games... I was very emotional when Metal Gear 5 was dropped... I look at my collection of metal gear games, all lined up in order ... "A Hideo Kojima game" says every single one of them.... Except for 5.... His name gone... All that's left is a Konami logo... And as Kojima asked in ground zeros "I see you are a fan of Hideo Kojima games?" I answer with tears I have held in, letting go... Yes I am Mr. Kojima.... Yes I am.... Goodbye Metal Gear... Goodbye Kojima.... Thank you.

War has changed. It's no longer about nations, ideologies, or ethnicity. It's an endless series of proxy battles, fought by mercenaries and machines. War--and it's consumption of life--has become a well-oiled machine. War has changed. ID-tagged soldiers carry ID-tagged weapons, use ID-tagged gear. Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control, information control, emotion control, battlefield control…everything is monitored and kept under control. War…has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control, all in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction, and he who controls the battlefield, controls history. War…has changed. When the battlefield is under total control, war becomes routine.

Aren't you tired of repeating the same shit over and over. It's a spin off, just like Ac!d and Ghost Babel, and could've been released even if there were no disrupt after mgsv. It's a 7/10 game, and for a low budget project, it's a fucking nice survival game that brings elements from mgs4, mgs3 and all the mgsv elements as base. No need to keep repeating something that is not even true.

Thanks also to all the staff on Kojima Prod throughout the years that helped him achieve his visions for MGS. All the people he selected himself to work with, and also to old Konami that backed Kojima and gave him the status and credibility to take risks. Even though people like to dogpile 2010's Konami (a company burned by many failures in the firstdecade of this Millenium), there would be no MGS (or Zoe, policenauts, snatcher) if it weren't for someone to back Kojima's dreams back in the 80s and 90s. Thanks to all the people involved. Internals, voice actors, writers, artists. Thanks

I already miss this franchise. To me and I'm sure to everyone who played these games, they were more than just games. Each game had an underlying theme and message. As a franchise the Metal Gear Solid saga taught us what it means to be human, an individual and how people differ and change based on their experiences. We all grew up alongside Snake while he Imparted knowledge to us along the way. Telling us to "find something to believe in, and find it for ourselves." There are many layers to what make these games so brilliant. There never was and there probably never will be anything quite like the Metal Gear Saga. Thank you Hideo Kojima. Great tribute!

Hey Kefka, I was wondering if you made a certain MGS trailer a while back. It opened with the "After the end of ww2" bit from MGS3 and showed some epic clips in the first half. About half way through though, it slows down and the song "Furneral" by Band of Horses starts playing. The rest of the video shows a lot of the hardships Snake went through and clips of The Boss. The video was taken down and I am having the hardest time finding the source. Please let me know if it was yours or if you know about it. I would be so so grateful. Love your work btw.

Me parece, em MUITOS aspectos, o 1.984 do Orwell... O dia-a-dia e o cotidiano do planeta me fazem lembrar quase que diariamente do livro... E, naturalmente, dos MG... Kojima é FODA mêmo... Puta merda!
