Ludvig Forssell is Kojimas Dark Horse. This track is so well put together and builds a battlefield and a mechanical, unfeeling obstacle just by sound. Now he is working on Death Stranding and is responsible for that theme. Yeah. I love this composer

Holy, I was looking for a song for a Clockwork Dragon fight for my Pathfinder campaign. The requirements were an aggressive song (it will be a battle , after all) with some kind of mechanical or electrical sounds to represent the technology required to build such a complex machine, this is just perfect, thanks!

One year later but fuck it. Those creatures have a damn right to be creepy. Most, if not nearly all of the humanoid bosses, in mgs were...well. Human. You COULD argue with them. At least to some extend. Realistically it was possible. But the Skulls...the damn skulls were different. You couldn't argue with them. You couldn't reason with them. Those things were obedient animals in humanoid form. Animals that were out to kill you. Their appereance might have been human but they were everything BUT human. That's the same reason why many people are afraid of dolls. They look human but in reality they aren't. It is a psychological scare deep embedded within human psychology.

The female snipers in the parasite unit walk really creepy when they come up to you to attack you with a skull machete

The game overall lacked a focus, but these villains were a perfect evolution gameplay from the frogs. They used the tech of the engine to wreck your shit and if they were used sparingly. As say "the four horsemen" way rather than a copy paste - they'd go down as the best mgs boss. Each independently has their own shtick like man on fire. The four or five individual but whole, each has a gimmick but together connect via the network to become one. Like the Borg brrr. This theme plays as the choir of bosses fall on you like rain as you drive frantically in the downpour firing shots. They keep coming. Constantly coming. The individual bosses are a variant but personalised by their gift
