Resto Really? Giving my metal shaping machine a new paint job. I started this many years ago but my career at the time didn't allow me time to finish it off, as you can see by the unfinished paintwork. I had previously dismantled, stripped and cleaned all the exterior moving components including the ram, table and linkages, excluding the bull gear to pawl transition gearbox (later video to follow). I actually restored the worn vice ways on this actual shaper. You can see the actual cutter marks on the surface of the fixed jaw vice ways. That's why the other blue vice was in use in the early photo's, prior to the ways being machined. I restored the hardened vice jaws later on using a carbide replaceable tipped cutting tool I'd fabricated and have the process on an earlier YT video. This is not a proper nuts and bolts machine tool restoration, but it looks very nice. It also machines very nice as well. That's the main objective. Thank you for watching. More videos to follow using this machine. Appreciated.....Tony
