cool stage!. but that helocopters looks harder... did you thing about include the old normal helicopters (with no diagonal attacks). my suggestion will be, include both types. but paint one of them on a different colour. just for let know the player that those are easy or hard helicopters, depending of the colour. in that same way, you could do the same with some enemies, if you want to put to they more life, more attacks, or more fierce attacking, etc.. different colour means more powerful/harder enemies. like on golden axe for example.

The MASKNELL Helicopters are tend to do diagonal and random bullet firing :)

Going well. Um, one question: Is it difficult to make the CONTINUE numbers to spin, cause I see these numbers staying still almost on every video where it appears?

just a thing more: for that powerful mask transformation idea, maybe you could take some sprites from allen oneil rebel soldier. for make marco looks powerul aka hulk, with big size and big muscles, you know. apart, a hulk transformation, using some kind of potion or something, could be too a very funny idea... with the sprites in the same style of one of my more loved games..."rampage" from arcade mameui32 emulator or sega master system versions... :)

masks: ----------- i had been thinking some things after saw your videos, with that new eagle mask enemies... and too, i been playing this week some crazy doujin games based on "splatter house". that give me an idea. this is a remake of mslug5, so must have certains levels and bosses. however, why dont add to it some new things maked in exclusive by yourselft? like some exclusive levels (shortcuts), and a new transformation too. well, this is what i been thinking... mslug5 story have around many masks. so... why not make a new exclusive transformation with it? i haved 2 ideas for this: 1) one could be as jim carrey "the mask" movie. where you can put almost everything that you dream. 2) this idea have more sustance... in a shorcut on the stage 2, you can take by one cementery in the jungle. there, beetwheen the crosses and the tombs, you could find a mask like the one on "splatter house". the transformation could be become stronger, with many muscles, and make you attack directly with your own hands. killing zombie monsters by punching them directly!. so, no weapons, just short distance strong attacks lets say "incredible hulk style", and why not? even grabs for throw enemies to others with the grenade button. and also you can get some weapons items, as axes or something like that on the way. just like on the splatter house games. meanwhile, the life for this could be an energy counter (like the ms4 combo counter) that will decrease after been hit or with the simple pass o the time. making that you can transform into this beast, only for a limited time period. werewolf? -------------- other similar possibility, thinking on transformations, could be a werewolf. "altered beast" style. (throwing fireballs and making faster energy sliding kicks). in fact, werewolf transformation was one of the abandoned ideas of the mslug team... you can see a shot of one enemy soldier transformed into werewolf on the mslug drawings from the gallery of mslug1 playstation, or in the credits of mslug x. the good thing on mslug games, is that every new title always comes with at least, a new slug or a new transformation. for make you see something new on that new title. however, i know it... this idea will require a lot of work and a good spriter for create those new sprites. i know too that you are now making the whole game first... but if you are looking for a new idea, for put in the game something new that doents appear hidden/unussed on the cartridge even... well, there you have some ideas... ;) greetings ;)

i really like your enthusiasm :) As we all know since metal slug 2, supernaturals and other out of this world themes are added in the series. In Metal Slug 5 the only supernatural is the final boss. We need to mix and match other un-earthly enemies or transformation in the game. But as research goes by, only the Final boss and the "mask" that fell out of the sky are the only one that is unnatural in the game, thus we just decided to remove other stuff the MS series has added. Transformation can be used for the final mission but I think it will only be seen in the final battle where the Boss uses a portal like attack. There I think the ideas can be used but limited to zombies and other supernatural stuffs the metal slug have created. If a branch should be added in mission 2, i think it will be the area tribe of the "Eaglan" (we only came up for the name) that can be gloomy since they are more ravage than the local natives in the ruins, your idea can be used like its cannibalism mode since that as i have said, they are more weird. :)

Very good work.Forgive if you dont understand my English.Nice idea about the Metal Slug advance's enemys.But,the game is TOO hard,is clearly imposible to beat whitout lose.Every atack must have a warging and mid speed,to make the avoid posible not only for luck.Sorry,but the game still great
