Dimash started with a C8/C#8, held it for 2 seconds and then bent it up to a D8 that he held for 5 seconds with vibrato. I even verified it with a frequency meter. A D8 on a musical note frequency chart is 4698.63 Hz and Dimash hit 4702 Hz which is basically spot on. A generational talent for sure.

Dimash wrote this song when he was 16 or 17 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. Incidentally, Dimash himself said that this was not actually intended. He probably wanted to sing his "normal" G#7, but when he did, no sound came out of his throat. When he started again, the C8 came and then the D8. A 5 second accident with vibrato😂. Only Dimash can do this. And then he continues as nothing has happened. Some joke that he actually sang a higher note, but realized that we earthlings can’t hear notes that high, so he “only” sang the D8😉 Greetings and love from Germany👋❤️

Hi John! Dimash is amazing always! Tomorrow, May 24, he will be turning 29 years old. And in many countries of the world there are face-to-face or virtual meetings to commemorate her birthday. At every concert there are people of all nationalities and cultures. The concert that he gave in Kazakhstan in September 2022 brought together people from 60 different countries and in the one in Prague, there were attendees from 72 different countries. Dimash unites us through his music, and makes us happy. He is a gift to our lives, not only because of his unique and unrepeatable voice, but also because of his presence and his benevolent way of being human. Those of us who have been following him for a few years, don't spend a day without listening to him... his music changes our mood, and his way of living in the world makes us better humans too. Thank you for making your personal Dimash journey. And thanks for talking about it to other youtubers who join in reacting to it. Through the reactions, many people get to know and follow him. Thanks for making it known. And I hope you continue to enjoy his art, just as we enjoy what you do. Greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina

Well the highest key on the piano is a C8, and Dimash sang a D8, so yes off the piano. And that is his whistle register, apparently he used to normally hit the 7th octave in that song, but everyone has a hiccup and when he went for it again that note popped out. Lol. But he's a professional so even if he surprised himself he kept singing. Gakku apparently had over 100,000 people there, if you watch any of the other Gakku performances, they showed an aerial view and it looked like ants on an ant hill.

The first song I heard from Dimash was "Unforgettable Day" from the Gakku concert. Someone added the link to a comment of a blog that discussed animal sounds, specifically dolphins. One song from Dimash is all it takes. And the more I heard and learned, the greater my respect and admiration grew for his incredible talent; his expansive knowledge and deep understanding of music from different cultures, ages, and genres; his love for his family, friends, and people everywhere; his sincerity, kindness and humbleness that is rooted in authentic spiritual understanding. He is so much more than just a singer. He is a true Master. He grasps and employs universal archetypes in music to such a degree that people are deeply moved even if they do not understand any of the words. Many ancient sacred teachings talk about the Sound Current (aka Voice of God) when employing specific forms of music and rhythm that alter the state of consciousness of the listener. Dimash knows how to use and channel these vibrations to awaken something very deep in the psyche of the audience. For that reason, some call him an angel, others call him a prince or even an alien. Because he is not ego-driven, Dimash does not abuse this power and deflects any cult-like outpourings with modesty, grace, humor, and praise for the contributions of others. He always shows the utmost respect for his talent and the ethical responsibilities that go with his god-given gift. His music is an invitation to go on a spiritual journey that liberates the soul to soar those Endless Dimensions with him. Spread your wings, Dears, and fly higher and higher.

My god, what an introduction to Dimash! I usually save this one for the third or fourth piece when introducing someone new to him because it goes to such an extreme SO quickly! I feel like he has a few songs that, when you don't know what to expect, could actually short out your brain (I've seen the whole 'system does not compute' twitch with several reactions to him 🤣). He truly is one of the most remarkable human beings to ever exist not just because of his talent but because of all of the things you said. I know that, for me personally, his music has had a dramatic affect on my mental and emotional health. I can feel the physical reactions that occur in my body and brain when I listen to him and I am beyond thankful that he shares himself with us in the way that he does. Every time he shares himself with us is a huge gift, whether in song, a speech, or just a brief interaction as he goes from place to place; you feel how genuinely he cares about people.

The note hit by Dimash, was the very high note D8, is so high it doesn’t exist on a standard piano. Its higher than the whistle note and is often referred to as the whisper note. For those who are not familiar with Dimash, be prepared to be amazed. He is known to have the most powerful voice in the world. Born in May 1994 in Kazakhstan, Dimash comes from a musical background as his father was a pop singer and his mother an opera singer. At the age of five, his talent was discovered by a voice teacher during his visit to his mother's opera practice. Dimash has a strong musical education and is even rumored to be pursuing a PhD in Music. In addition, he is skilled in playing various instruments. He is not only talented but also intelligent, having performed songs in twelve different languages. His ability to hit incredibly high notes is almost unimaginable for a male or female singers Dimash is also a great fan of the late Michael Jackson, the king of pop.

This was the now legendary D8, the note beyond the right edge of the piano. Dimash usually avoids producing sounds that grate the ear. When asked about it at the digital meet and greet in 2021, he acknowledged that it was a spur-of-the-moment decision. We can see that just before it, he was singing and shaking the mic but maybe due to a technical glitch no sound came out, so he jumped an octave higher and did THAT! What astounds me is how his voice is still okay after it………..😳
