yeah, i think blackened is their most heavily modified song. Its actaully played a little bit faster, but some parts are always missing!!!

It was during the ...And Justice for All era. They finally started to play some classics they haven't played in a while or even before during the Madly in Anger with the World tour. It blew my mind that they played the full version of Orion. Rob rocks.

I blame that on a sound guy. I guy from a forum said if you notice on the live metallica stuff. Its being released like a day after it was played live meaning the sound mixer guy didn't really put much time in to the drums or anything. but yeah cool cool.

I think that this was a performance right after comeback. You can compare this for example '09 Nimes show, nowadays they are again back in the top. I've seen them live 3 times, '04, '07 and '09 and the improvement has been huge.

I think James would be better off using a delay on the bridge, instead of having Rob do the backup vocals for that section. As for the performance, very tight :)

@mlodylord666 i have a good reason, they havent been playing for awhile lol they were going through alot since 2001-2003 while working on St.Anger, i Give them credit for perfoming old fast songs and at least still got it :D at the Big 4 blackened was sick live this year. even james sounds bad here he self confessed ruined his voice singing so what and had to go to a vocal coach,in late 2007 and early 2008 he got his voice back,look at them now robertos backing vocals have improved so much and james sounds amazing again,look up the copenhagen gig from 2009 and compare vocals to that,james is on top form again and i cant wait for the gig comeing up that is going to be bigger than pink floyds the wall its gonna be amazing......tallica for life man
