the lost era, there could have been a groove metal album if Metallica went to the studio 1999/2000 Jason’s backing vocals are absolutely br00tal

YES BRO!!! So many people don’t get it, this, no leaf clover. I disappear, they aren’t “random” songs, that was the style of album that was coming, the hard rock style of load/reload was gone, n they just went back to slower HEAVY grooves with Jason finally having more input, the album would of been so amazing. Also I feel like people space so hard on Metallica have released so much “groove” metal, AJFA was not even thrash, it was essentially groove metal before there was a label for it, harvester, ajfa, blackened (even though that’s still thrashy) eye of the beholder, shortest straw, frayed ends of sanity LOL ones iconic rhythm, it’s fucking groove metal

Tristanh_14 They Had plans to record an albun in 2001 so... If the guys resolved their ego-issues (and the fact that Echobrain wouldn't hurt 'Tallica at all) we could get a cool-ass album with studio versions of No Leaf Clover, - Human & I Disappear (Re-Recorded, much like the same way they re-recorded Lords Of Summer)

I'm 3 years later, but I'll say it I don't even know wtf happened with st. @@blsk_max watching Some Kinda Monster I understand why it sounded the way it did or why they wanted it to sound that way. I just don't get why they wanted to release as a studio album production.
