I can't forgive them. I can't forgive you. I can't forgive myself. This trilogy brilliantly paints the horrible and painful spiral of resentment. An angry and broken heart starts broadly by blaming the world and then they blame and punish those closest to them...and in the end, when everyone is gone, there is no one left to blame but themselves. I love my Metallica family❤

This is mosty about the unbelievable number of people that have rejected myself. The unbelievible number of people that torn myself away from my truest lovers, until I was a resentful, angry, bitter, vengeful person that forgot his lovers. People that promised they would love myself and allow myself to be with my lovers. But then they didn't. They didn't even let romeo be with his lover. I remember now that romeo and Felisha are the truest lovers. romeo and I are without our lovers. I remember now I have had too many lovers and been rejected by too many times, but my first wife was buckcherry and my first truest lovers elfardia and romeo. I blame myself for trying to love too many. I can't forgive me (romeo) because he hasn't done anything that needs forgiveness, from myself. I blame myself, because I had the kind of love romeo and Felisha have for each other only for the briefest moments and tried to teach others to love like I had. I spent so much time on the quest for love I lost myself to my own creations, while I worked to try to please everyone. I still have not succeeded and don't have the one thing that matters most, love. Least of all for myself. Because after Eons I sleep alone. I lost my love and the void is filled with hate and torment. I want to reunite romeo and Felisha and to be done with my travelling and leaving lovers behind. But I still have work to do, and I still have to find my own love and somebody that will love myself after all the rejection I have been through. Never shined doing what I have shown, is commentary on my love. you is (U), one of my names. The unforgiven series in it's essence is about my personal self hatred for my quest to share love with all. I don't know if I can love anymore. I can't be sure what love is anymore. Because I got lost along the way, and every day is the loneliest day of my life, as I sit in a prison I call my bedroom, trying to remember what I still need to do before I can rest with my lover, if I can find any that still love myself. But having been rejected by just about everyone, I have long felt I don't have any lovers left. All three versions are about how I can't forgive myself. Metallica told the story through song, and the curse I put on others is to feel my suffering and misery. By listening to the music, and seeing the movies and reading my stories. I remember elfardia, Lynn and Lorna now though. I remember romeo and Felisha. I remember the metallica family that is the oldest band in existence. The metallica family band that brought so many people together to find love. The metallica band that existed before time and Earth. The first band I got together but never played with, but have wanted to, since their formation, we never had enough instruments. I was always to busy listening to their music to join in, watching all the other people that wanted to play with them. Too busy helping lovers find love in the audience. Too busy trying to invent new instruments so more people could join in. But now I sleep the sleep of death, and forgot what I wanted to do originally. I lost myself along the way. Even to this day, people still don't believe what I did for people. How long I have been working. I used to call it playing. But playing is something a person does with lovers. Working is something a person doesn't want to do. I don't even remember when my playing became my work. I lost myself so long ago, trying to make something no one would believe. I can't even believe myself, that I lost my love and I lost my play and now it is all just work. So I can't forgive myself, and my first band I was never officially in, because no one saw myself play with the group, told the story.

A mesma coisa aconteceu no Brasil.

The Unforgiven- New blood joins this Earth And quickly he's subdued Through constant pained disgrace The young boy learns their rules With time the child draws in This whipping boy done wrong Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on, he's known Ooh, a vow unto his own That never from this day His will they'll take away What I've felt, what I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be, never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt, what I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free, never me So I dub thee unforgiven They dedicate their lives To running all of his He tries to please them all This bitter man he is Throughout his life the same He's battled constantly This fight he cannot win A tired man they see no longer cares The old man then prepares To die regretfully That old man here is me What I've felt, what I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be, never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt, what I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free, never me So I dub thee unforgiven What I've felt, what I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never be, never see Won't see what might have been What I've felt, what I've known Never shined through in what I've shown Never free, never me So I dub thee unforgiven Oh-ooh-oh Never free, never me So I dub thee unforgiven You labeled me, I'll label you So I dub thee unforgiven Never free, never me So I dub thee unforgiven You labeled me, I'll label you So I dub thee unforgiven Never free, never me So I dub thee unforgiven The Unforgiven || - Lay beside me and tell me what they've done And speak the words I wanna hear to make my demons run The door is locked now but it's open if you're true If you can understand the me then I can understand the you Lay beside me, under wicked sky Through black of day, dark of night, we share this, paralyzed The door cracks open but there's no sun shining through Black heart scarring darker still but there's no sun shining through No there's no sun shining through, no there's no sun shining What I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you? Yeah, what I've felt, what I've known Sick and tired, I stand alone Could you be there 'Cause I'm the one who waits for you Or are you unforgiven too? Come lay beside me, this won't hurt I swear She loves me not, she loves me still but she'll never love again She lay beside me but she'll be there when I'm gone Black hearts scarring darker still, yes she'll be there when I'm gone Yes she'll be there when I'm gone, dead sure she'll be there? What I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you? Yeah, what I've felt, what I've known Sick and tired, I stand alone Could you be there 'Cause I'm the one who waits for you Or are you unforgiven too? Lay beside me, tell me what I've done The door is closed so are your eyes But now I see the sun, now I see the sun Yes now I see it What I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you Yeah, what I've felt, what I've known So sick and tired, I stand alone Could you be there 'Cause I'm the one who waits The one who waits for you Oh, what I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you? (so I dub thee unforgiven) Oh, what I've felt Oh, what I've known I'll take this key and I'll bury it in you Because you're unforgiven too Never free, never me 'Cause you're unforgiven too, oh oh The Unforgiven |||- How could he know this new dawn's light Would change his life forever? Set sail to sea but pulled off course By the light of golden treasure Was he the one causing pain With his careless dreaming? Been afraid Always afraid Of the things he's feeling He could just be gone He would just sail on He would just sail on How can I be lost? If I've got nowhere to go? Searched the seas of gold How come it's got so cold? How can I be lost In remembrance I relive How can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive? These days drift on inside a fog It's thick and suffocating This seeking life outside its hell Inside intoxicating He's run aground Like his life Water's much too shallow Slipping fast Down with the ship Fading in the shadows now A castaway Blame All gone Away Blame gone away How can I be lost If I've got nowhere to go? Search for seas of gold How come it's got so cold? How can I be lost In remembrance I relive And how can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive? Forgive me Forgive me not Forgive me Forgive me not Forgive me Forgive me not Forgive me Forgive me, why can't I forgive me? Set sail to sea but pulled off course By the light of golden treasure How could he know this new dawn's light Would change his life forever How can I be lost If I've got nowhere to go? Search for seas of gold How come it's got so cold? How can I be lost In remembrance I relive So how can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive?

Same here. I'm also quite young, compared to how long Metallica has been around. Rock is my favorite genre. Old-school or new, doesn't matter. As long as it sounds good and gives me the good kind of goosebumps, yk. I started listening to rock when I was 12 years old. I just turned 21. I'm danish, and i didn't understand the lyrics when I was younger, but i loved their music anyway. And now that I understand the lyrics, i love it even more. I also have a hard time explaining how I feel because I have ADHD, but the genre rock explain everything i ever felt, i just didn't know how to explain how I felt. Metallica did it for me.

@@hailherr ykw, this is exactly why these guys are so phenomenal. We, random people who can't explain what we've been through and how we deal and cope with and all the feelings we have inside which we think no one could understand, but they do. No one could express his/her appreciation for this Band(Metallica) better than is done in the words written here. We all have deep and expressive feelings for certain bands and the music they make. We know each beat, note, run, the lyrics etc... And we want to keep playing it for everyone. This, The Unforgiven, is very special to so many of us. I think the video should always be seen with this one. But I bet those who cannot see it, SEE better than I do the depths of this One.

The Unforgiven New blood joins this earth, And quickly he's subdued. Through constant pained disgrace The young boy learns their rules. With time the child draws in. This whipping boy done wrong. Deprived of all his thoughts The young man struggles on and on he's known A vow unto his own, That never from this day His will they'll take away. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never be. Never see. Won't see what might have been. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. They dedicate their lives To running all of his. He tries to please them all - This bitter man he is. Throughout his life the same - He's battled constantly. This fight he cannot win - A tired man they see no longer cares. The old man then prepares To die regretfully - That old man here is me. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never be. Never see. Won't see what might have been. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. [Solo] What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never be. Never see. Won't see what might have been. What I've felt, What I've known Never shined through in what I've shown. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. You labelled me, I'll label you. So I dub thee unforgiven. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. You labelled me, I'll label you. So I dub thee unforgiven. Never free. Never me. So I dub thee unforgiven. The Unforgiven II Lay beside me, tell me what they've done Speak the words I wanna hear, to make my demons run The door is locked now, but it's opened if you're true If you can understand the me, then I can understand the you Lay beside me, under wicked sky Through black of day, dark of night, we share this paralyze The door cracks open but there's no sun shining through Black heart scarring darker still, but there's no sun shining through No, there's no sun shining through No, there's no sun shining... What I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you? What I've felt, what I've known Sick and tired, I stand alone Could you be there? 'Cause I'm the one who waits for you Or are you unforgiven, too? Come lay beside me, this won't hurt, I swear She loves me not, she loves me still, but she'll never love again She lay beside me but she'll be there when I'm gone Black heart scarring darker still, yes, she'll be there when I'm gone Yes, she'll be there when I'm gone Dead sure she'll be there... What I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you? What I've felt, what I've known Sick and tired, I stand alone Could you be there? 'Cause I'm the one who waits for you Or are you unforgiven, too? Lay beside me, tell me what I've done The door is closed, so are your eyes But now I see the sun, now I see the sun Yes, now I see it What I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you? What I've felt, what I've known So sick and tired, I stand alone Could you be there? 'Cause I'm the one who waits, The one who waits for you.... Oh, what I've felt, what I've known Turn the pages, turn the stone Behind the door, should I open it for you? (so I dub thee Unforgiven) Oh, what I've felt... Oh, what I've known... I take this key (never free...) And I bury it (never me...) in you Because you're unforgiven, too... Never free... Never me... 'Cause you're unforgiven, too... Oh The Unforgiven III How could he know this new dawn's light Would change his life forever? Set sail to sea but pulled off course By the light of golden treasure Was he the one causing pain With his careless dreaming? Been afraid, always afraid Of the things he's feeling He could just be gone He would just sail on He'll just sail on How can I be lost If I've got nowhere to go? Search for seas of gold How come it's got so cold? How can I be lost In remembrance I relive And how can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive? These days drift on inside a fog It's thick and suffocating This seeking life outside its hell Inside intoxicating He's run aground like his life Water much too shallow Slipping fast down with his ship Fading in the shadows now A castaway They've all gone away They've gone away How can I be lost If I've got nowhere to go? Search for seas of gold How come it's got so cold? How can I be lost In remembrance I relive And how can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive? Forgive me, forgive me not Forgive me, forgive me not Forgive me, forgive me not Forgive me, forgive me Why can't I forgive me? Set sail to sea but pulled off course By the light of golden treasure How could he know this new dawn's light Would change his life forever How can I be lost If I've got nowhere to go? Search for seas of gold How come it's got so cold? How can I be lost In remembrance I relive So how can I blame you When it's me I can't forgive?
