@@BarbaraHeffernan So do I. I have read somewhere that when you practice compassion thorugh meditation, you change your perception and see yourself and others like compassionate people. Literally creating heaven on earth. I can't thank you enough. Have a good one Mrs. Barbara!

Hello Barbara, I have meditated before and have sent loving thoughts to those who came to mind. I never realized it was Metta . Thank you so much for sharing this meditation. I have saved it and will be doing it daily. I found you by "accident" and I'm so happy that I have. I will be following you and your teaching, as I know it's never too late. ( I am 73) Until next time.

I don't, really, Barbara. I did one with Sharon Salzberg a couple years back and followed that for about a month or two. Now I practice pure Zazen. I practice for an hour each day and do a 3-4 day retreat twice a year. Thanks for asking. Come by the channel more often!
