While I had to ponder that one for a while, after all, the owner of that frame didn't likely have anything to do with the theft, but the bottom line is, the thieving shop owner will now have to fix that problem or deal with the consequences. That, and his reputation will be shot, something no amount of money can buy. So, while it's admittedly a bit of a hard sell, my conclusion is that there was no other solution. The thief was either going to walk away emboldened to continue fucking people over, with the ostensible "good guy", a businessman himself who subbed out that part of the job losing his own reputation, or he was going to pay. In the end, being unbiased, it was the ONLY solution.

I'm amazed at your replacing the rotted out floors, trunk and panels. I guess it's all part of welding but to be able to make a classic come back to life again, you and your friends have a gift. Hell, if I was younger I would love to be hangin at your shop learning how to breathe life back into these classics. I would love to buy a '59 Impala and come on out to your shop as you do your magic. That would be real satisfaction instead of buying a car already finished. To be with the build getting dirty and bleeding for the car. That is where it is at. I don't know if you have leads on a '59 Impala Rag that needs everything. Get back to me and I will be with your team as we make that car new again. I would selll my house to get on with that dream. Awesome, just plain Capital Awesome. Subbed for more Car Love.

Can I make a suggestion? I am into off-road vehicles. We use uniballs on the A arms as the ball joints break. I see a lot of hydro cars snapping ball joints. Is there any reason people that build Hydro cars do not upgrade to uniballs instead of ball joints? I really think it might be worth looking into for your hopper cars.

So sorry for your bad experience carnal, i am from Mexicali, Mexico, about an hour from Yuma, AZ there are some awesome shops over here too, some advice to whoever has the need to have a job done in Mexico, have a contract done to you with the copy of the person for legal purposes, have them sign the time they will have your job done, and if they ask you for an advance they should sign the amount they reveived from you, this is one of the safest way from being scammed, unfortunately many persons do not honor their word any more!
