You can’t have a Shabbat without watching the famous “5 minute Torah”. It is the perfect way to end a Shabbat dinner.

It was the most eye opening moment when I realized Yeshua did not come to start a new religion! I had a little identity crisis to be honest! But now so many things finally make sense! Your teachings help so much in understanding- they are much appreciated!!! Shabbat Shalom!

Thank you! My application of this Torah Parsha: God has been dealing with me about “life and death are in the power of the tongue.” He has been showing me that the Torah emphasizes the tzara’at problem so much because of its importance to Him. I need to be very careful about what comes out of my mouth in order to keep my heart right before God.

I noticed many times, people will use the modern (or latinized title name) "Saturday" for "Shabbat"".... which I will not, that is just me, I have respect for G-d and the day He created,.. again that's my train of thought.

One response I have heard is that Yeshua may have instructed them to see the priest because he (Yeshua) had not died/resurrected yet, therefore, the temple system still needed to be effective for atonement. Would this opinion be in contradiction to the verses you mentioned in Revelation, since he(Yeshua) had been slain from the foundations of the world? As in, he had already done it outside of time even though he hadn’t yet done it within time (an already/not yet paradox)?

Also, Paul went to the Temple. Acts 21: 22-24. Acts 24: 17-18. So the Temple played an important part of Christianity.

Just for clarification - The Temple was central to the earliest disciples of Yeshua. However, Christianity as a religion separate from Judaism didn't exist when the Temple was still standing.

Karen - That's a misunderstanding of and over simplification of atonement(s). The Temple provided one type of atonement whereas Yeshua provides another. Even though it doesn't use the word "atonement," it's in the context. The book of Hebrews says, "For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, 14 how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God." (Hebrews 9:13-14) Hope that helps!

What you are talking about happened before the FATHER sacrificed Jesus for our sins. Now we have Jesus sacrifice to cover all our sins if we follow Jesus words. But Jesus was not sent to His death because of treachery against the government but rather for jealousy over women. It was jealousy over a woman that caused Judas Iscariot to betray Jesus.
@Shalomacon

No. Iscariot was a zealot and wanted to push Yeshua to lead a rebellion against Rome.

@@Shalomacon read the Bible. Judas got angry over a woman and went out and betrayed Jesus. That's just a fact. What you're saying is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. Whoever came up with your idea did so from pure imagination because there is absolutely nothing in the Bible that proves what you're saying.
