My 18 year old nephew is actually buying an mgb this week may 2019 to drive as his first car. In a nut shell he hates new cars.

Poor little car! The guy should stick to something slower, easier to drive and with an automatic transmission. He doesnt seem to know exactly what a clutch is and how it works. Not to mention the treatment with the car as a whole (brakes, suspension, choke, even the f...ing door).

the clutch treatment is not that bad i have driven an MGb and he is not doing it wrong, as long as he does not bleep it to much when he shifts

This is a healthy strong running MG, and not too fast for this car... aside from animal hazards. The speedo cable is bad or needs cleaning and lubing.. why the speedo jumps around like it does. The throttle blips aren't necessary, but at least not slipping the clutch! I enjoyed the ride!

It's a gear lever, not a bloody arm rest!

I used to rest my hand on the gearshift of my MG too, no crime in doing so.

@@danielkbarton actually it's not good for the shifter or shift linkage.

Do you have problems with your B jumping out of gear??? Was wondering why you drove with your hand on the shifter so much.

Love the video, I remember the sound and feel of my MGB too. Your video brought all that back to life! For all the overly critical comments, I bet you asshats are a real hoot at parties. The owner is probably aware of the tach needle bouncing up and down, not a show stopper. Relax and enjoy the video for what it is.

What a massacre for that poor little car! Using the gear lever as an arm rest will kill the gearbox very soon.

Stop blipping the throtttle, learn how to double clutch down smoothly, keep your damn hand off the shifter when not shifting and for heavens sake, keep both hands on the wheel. Other than that, well . . .
