I had one replaced under warranty just before 3 years age, heard aloud bang when breaking sharply for a nutter on a single track road. Last MOT (car 5 year old) garage unkindly put the other kn advisory for light corrosion! I may replace this or paint it lol

Where did you manage to buy the parts from my car has failed the MOT and looking to get replacements can't find any anywhere? And what was the rough cost

Have tried a main dealer? They're not expensive. About £28 each. I got my springs (used) off ebay but it only worked out a few quid cheaper than new genuine ones.

Don't know how long you've owned the MG mate, but have you found it to be a reasonably reliable/durable little car for it's price range. Reason being I'm seriously considering buying an EV version of the MG, but a bit worried about build quality. Would value your opinion on the brand as a mechanic/owner.

I've had it for 4 years and it's been pretty good reliability wise. I work at an MG dealer so I've seen all the common faults and niggles they have but in all honesty, they're ok and I see very little problems with the EV's. Build quality is ok. Best bet is to get yourself to a dealer and test drive one.

🤣🤣 no problem, glad you spotted it because I didn't. I serviced it a few weeks ago and it wasn't broken then. Must had only just snapped.
