This looks like a phenomenal grill but needs an easily remove-able ash catcher or tray at the bottom of the grill area like there is for the fire box

It has one.

In the videos I’ve seen of the new model the bottom of the grill area has to be lined with foil bc nothing else is there to catch ash. If there is one, can someone send a pic?

I believe you can upgrade the wheels to an 8" wheel. I think they have a picture of one with the larger wheels on their Instagram channel. I think it's a great grill and hope to get one some day.

Are you still affiliated with Grilla?

Why would you think I'm not? This is not their page though, I've made it abundantly clear that I am still active in the bbq world and I test and use all the gear I can that is not Grilla. While I am their staff pitmaster and work many hours a week for them, it would be very short-sighted of both parties to lock me in and not allow me to pursue things beyond just their products.

For the price Yoder , Pitts and Spitts and Lone Star are all better

I'm with you on Lone Star. Their 24x48 Adjustable Charcoal Grill competes directly with the M1's big brother, the M36. But the wait times on the LSG are excruciating. Neither Yoder nor P&S with anything in their current line up that directly competes with the M1 IMO. The Yoder Flat Top grills come close.

@@jfunk8628 Good to hear as I'm 1 click away from ordering the 24x48 Flat Top. My main hesitation is the clearence from the grill grate to the lid. It doesn't look like it can handle something like a turkey.

@@mikeg6069 there should be enough height for a turkey. It's a beast of a grill. I've grilled and smoked on it.

@@jfunk8628 the grate size, wheel size, and versatility is why I'm interested. I already have 2 pellet grills and big gas grill. What I haven't had in decades is a charcoal grill. So I'm looking for the largest most versatile grill I can find on the $3k range.
