@Cry Aloud Spare Not I know Miami is much warmer than most US cities in March, but while officials are speculating that the Coronavirus doesn't like temps above the mid-50s, it struck me that in multiple areas there were clusters of people hanging out. The way this virus spreads, that strikes me as taking a BIG chance.

I know people freak out about the hood, but it really isn't bad as long as you're not being an idiot and getting wrapped up in shit. This goes especially for white dudes. As a white dude myself, I never got into trouble or anything, was friends with most of the neighborhood. People are too damn scared or overworried with fitting in with "bad" neighborhoods, but really, it's the same as living in any other urban environment, just a bit more run down.

Miami seemed the most dangerous overall. Surprisingly, Orlando was actually a pretty close second, then Jacksonville. Also the worst looking part of Orlando looked just as bad as Miami, but Miami has more widespread ghetto areas. Jacksonville would be third in this category too. Almost forgot, that area of Belle Glade actually looked the worst, but not as dangerous as those 3 cities.

Don't get me wrong, Miami hoods can be "dangerous" but they look pristine and beautiful compared to the Midwest (Detroit/Cleveland) and Northeast hoods (Philadelphia)

The reason you see nice cars in bad neighborhoods is because the people who are making money don’t have proof of income so they can’t qualify for a mortgage, but they can buy a car cash.

I left Miami after I got shot and my friend I was with was killed, we got off the wrong exit in downtown and got lost, when we stop to turn around all hell broke loose, they ran up on both sides of my car and I tried to take off they opened fire, I was hit in the right back of my shoulder and my friend was shot in the head, he died instantly. Never again do I drive to downtown Miami and I grew up there for over 40 years.
