The officer said to me "why the rush", I explained about Miami Vice and he said "looks like you're going to miss it then, come and look at this video we have of you harassing an UNMARKED POLICE CAR"! I know of a certain fed who likes this tune as a satirical dig on me. I've said I don't care anymore countless times. This video in a way explains it-to a point though not the best analogy. I do what I do for a simple reason. I've got a conscious, and like anyone else on this earth, we all have to answer for whatever one day. Some don't believe that and persecute me the same over it on US tax dollars at that. Some of what I do, I feel I'm called upon by God to do-the right thing. That happens to help certain feds out. Any more? I could give a damn but some don't know how to separate the two. You see tubbs and crocket doing their thing. Say that was you, and you were forced into something like it repeatedly. You don't get paid; in fact you get robbed from an punished. You see about the time those two are about to make Thiers move as its a bust, who comes out? The feds. They sit there. They watch. No communication. The two cops get scewed over kinda, and who gets the credit? The feds. In my world its somewhat like that. Force me to deal with someone who actually might be trafficking arms or helping someone with as much! They know everything about me but hush hush on who's a fed; I'm supposed to be protected. So much for that. In the video, had those two not been there, the feds would have had nothing. So tubbs and Crockett make thier case. You see how that ends for those two. It happens to me literally how many hundred times? Funny thing is with all they have, I never understood what the hell they needed me for. Then like something recent, some fed and another colleague is all happy! They got what they were looking for supposedly thanks to me. Be that as it may, aside from seeing nothing done, I said I wasn't sure what to make of that in part for that reason. Then as usual, for my efforts, I get punished somehow. Its as if its an unwritten mandate that's how it has to be. Then they don't understand why I'm not sure how I should feel about it as each time this sort of thing happens, its like a pre planned thing I get some more abuse in return and forced to rot in favor of the criminal I'm under order to be protected from. So after a while when you're forced Intl these things no matter how detrimental it is to you mentally and physically, it doesn't matter. They're all happy as they got whatever they wanted. I get more abuse on purpose in return and I'm supposed to give a damn and be happy? I'm not a massachist. Somehow after years of repeating as much, it doesn't click with these people and they seem perplexed as if they've got a cognitive impairment. Welcome to the dark side of see something, say something. See something, report it, and get bullied around by the FBI and others in CTU. What did I do? I only eyewitnessed a practice run by ISIS so expose me to the people involved and after they ask me for help, start bullying me around in the middle of me cooperating and then force me into their job again, only to punish me some more. So in that aspect, why should I care? Honestly?

I disagree, at least when it come to characterizations and writing which even since the beginning was going up and down, but Miami Vice strength lies in scenes like this. Arms deal going with Phil Collins tune which somehow managed to bring tension just as great suspense movie scene. Plus, style was quite unique for its time. Also ,I'd add that acting wasn't great, but this is not the show you watch for stand out performances. Having said that, Miami Vice is show that was only possible in the 1980s, the last manly decade in film and television. Absolute greatness. And I do love Hills Street Blues and Crime Story.

They always used music to convey emotions and what was going on . Brilliant shit man . Almost every music scene has zero dialogue but you know exactly what they’re thinking and doing . The in the air tonight scene and the voices scene are the shit . Hardly any dialogue at all . Only ONE other movie /show has ever been able to do this and they did it before Miami vice . That was the good , the bad , and the ugly . Interesting how that movie is still my favorite and Miami vice is still my favorite tv show . Music and looks on actors faces convey what you need to know .
