I'm noticing a pattern with videos and photos of natural woodlands in the Northeast: everything seems to be shot during early spring, right after the snow melt but before the deciduous trees bud. Please shoot in late spring/early summer. I grew up near Bedford and I know Mianus looks like a primal Westcoast forest by late May. If you want to get people pumped about preserving nature, you gotta play on people's sense of romanticism, and that means leaves on trees.
