It’s not about playing the notes/solo. It’s about being the solo. When I listen to Michael, I hear the soul of a man - the expression of who/what he is. When I listen you, mimic him, all I hear is the reproduction of notes - that are not YOU. Once you reach technical proficiency, you then need to discover who YOU are, your voice, and play YOU, not someone else. Then, I might want to listen to you. Hope that helps on your journey. Peace

That's right. I'm still feeling the limits of my improvisation and started transcribing with the desire to incorporate the play of a great performer. Also, since I have transcribed it, I am making a video with the hope that it can be shared with other people. In other videos, I play ad lib, so please watch it if you like. Someday, like Michael, I want to find my voice and play a cool ad lib. We will continue to do so, so please support us. Thank you for your wonderful comment.

As a piano player I always wondered what those sounds were that Mike plays. This transcription gave some good insight into that (apparently, they are thrills in the upper limit of the instrument).
