I have four tubes of these from my trip to Singapore! If i were to compare it to mgraham and sennelier, i believe they have less honey content since mine dried to a gloopy solid (my mgraham and sennelier is still jelly and wet, and im living in a tropical country) though the colour are as brilliant as the other 2 brands. My favourite color is py180 cuz im a sucker for unusual pigment, its like py150 nickel azo yellow though its more neutral and less glowy. I also love their sap green (same pigment as ds casade green) and hookers green

I got a granulation set - not much granulation was detected during the initial swatching (my guess - too small area), but when I started using them in my art - it was BOOM! blow me away! I’m so happy for your purchase! 🎉

I think you will find the ultramarine will granulate more when you use more pigment and more water, compared to the swatch.

They’ve expanded their selection of sets on Jackson’s since I got mine. So many fun sets now! I’m pretty sure that this is the urban set.

P.S. I meant to say earlier, I was lucky enough to find that same pack of Bee paper at the Goodwill last year and used each and every sheet. It was a great reminder to order more. I’ve gotten on to the Case For Making paints and so I think I’d better enjoy what l have. I sure liked seeing the Michael Harding watercolors though!

You might want to add a disclaimer that you have received no kind of compensation from Harding .

I definitely did not-however, if you are listening Michael Harding, I’m totally open to receiving some free watercolors-lol. My personal opinion is that they are fantastic.

You say somewhere around 17:44 “For the most part, that is a warm leaning red now…which is kind of amazing, coz you kind of think of red as being a primary color - ‘primary’ basically means that it can’t be mixed”. The inability to mix primary colours is actually a myth, as you’ve just proved. In fact there is no such thing as a primary colour set in stone. Computer printers use different primary colours: cyan, magenta and yellow, plus black (CMYK), and happily produce any colour including pure red and blue. Primary colours are merely a choice. Some artists use red, yellow and blue (RGB). Some use cyan, magenta and yellow (CMY). Some use others. But the CMY primary system can produce a purer range of colour than RGB.

Lol @ the last mix, isn't it a rule NOT to scrub two colors together on the paper?
@MysteryArts

No rules like that here. You do you.

Meh on Michael Harding... they tried but didn't seem to do a great job.. For the price - I'll just buy Daniel Smith - a known brand with a ton of support!
