I have traveled and I have witnessed that people all around the world loved Michael to death. They didn't just cheer for him, they went crazy over him everyone knew who he was. Not only just women or people of a certain age group, everyone wanted to have a glimpse of him. He was not just the King of Pop, he was treated like a King everywhere he went.

Michael Jackson has been #1 in USA in 1980s as well. But I was puzzled why people magazine never included him as one of sexist men. Maybe it WAS racist. He probably was among those extraordinary black pioneers such as Jesse Owens, Mohammed Ali, MLK, Michael Jordan, who paved the way for American to see the first black president sooner. (Looks like Obama and Michael never met) Anyway, his popularity went down since his first child molester accusation in late 1993. Before that, his super bowl half time performance was watched by so many fans in 1993. I came to America in 1995 and he became less popular. I did not get to love his music until he died. It is so pity on me.
