Two very different running styles. Wariner has a very smooth, fluid stride. Johnson has the quickest turnover and raw horsepower. Don't think Wariner could ever beat him, but would come close.

Pretty sure youtube is slowly degrading older video quality to free up server space hoping we won't notice. I've noticed some of my own videos uploaded 8 plus years ago now only able to be viewed at 480 when I know they were 720 or higher. I used to watch this particular video back in middle school and high-school and could see it clearly back then. KZitem, you suck. Slowly eroding digital history to save a buck.

Yea, i think thats one of the reasons many doubt he will take the record, because even though yes he is running, he'll really have to run that thing down like Michael did no questions asked. He gotta be willing to go out just maybe sub 20 or 20 low and come back, because one he has the legs to stride it. He has to now get the strength to sustain going out like a true sprinter. U agree?? Does anyone else reading this agree??

One more thing. I was a white sprinter and college halfback, but 30 years ago. Then, there was definitely prejudice that kept black guys in certain positions and out of others. Fortunately for me, my position was considered fair game for every type of guy, so no one had to feel they took the position unfairly. But I do recall that we have 8 white QB's!

Are you really going to judge it because of video quality, if so then that's pretty stupid. Wariner keeps getting better and better and i don't think he's even 25 years old yet. He won the Gold in Athens when he was 20. He's running consistent times in the 400m in the mid 43's. It's only a matter of time until he breaks Johnson's record. It will be tough though since Wariner isn't on roids, Johnson most likely was on HGH or roids.

I really want to see what Usain Bolt's got for a 400m right now all-out! Seriously, he ran 45 seconds at age 15. That was also when he wasn't as strong as he is in modern times. Some people may not want to, but I'd love to see what he can do.
@bxriver

mj is the king of speed endurance, bolt looked like he was working hard for his 200m world record while mj looked like could have done another 50m at that pace so for bolt to get the 400 it will be hard work and he'll need a lot of time.

@AntonSilzzardhands. He doesnt have to. He is already the second greatest 400 metre runner that EVER LIVED. Think that over for a moment. Usian bolt is great but he fears the 400 metres for good reason. It is the lap of the gods. True sporting greatness lies there.

First of all Michael was never on roids, I am the mentor of two Baylor sprint National Champs Couts and Hauser and he's the best b/c he was THE MOST focused. 2nd, when people speak of their 200m difference, don't forget that Jeremy came in after it was just the tempo training vs. speed training 3 years then tempo... to me (and being on the training since 17) that's the best explanation as to why MJ was quicker but JW is stronger... Being that Mike was 21.3 and Jeremy was some 20.5 in HS
