Comparing Bron to Kobe is ok and let me do just that. When MJ watch young Kobe, his competitiveness burns and it makes him want to get back into the game! When old MJ watch prime Bron, it just made him pissed off and no doubt hate the game. I haven't watched a live NBA game since Kobe retired, I think most people of my generation gets turned off by the NBA these days.

The closest MJ ever came to having an "out of body" experience and watching himself play. You can tell how much he loved Kobe - kindred spirits. God had a small piece of very special cloth - enough to cut and make MJ and Kobe out of it. That's it. Sleep in peace Kobe and Gigi....EDIT: MJ was making THIRTY MILLION a season - back in 1997!!! Think about that. More than a QUARTER OF A CENTURY LATER - Lebron is "only" making 45 mil. That's insane. 30 mil in 1997 is the equivalent of MJ making FIFTY SIX MILLION a year in today's salary. Crazy.

in this clip alone you can see the game starts evolving slowly as how Grant Hill, AI and Kobe crossing people including Pippen who was a top NBA defender of the 90s and Pippen was younger compared to Jordan and Rodman… and Pippen cant do anything to a young Kobe who’s entering his prime💁🏻♀️💯 crossovers are becoming a thing in the early 2000s which the old schools werent really prepared for… yeah they had Tim Hardaway and a few 90s players who also had a crossover move but that was the 90s style…
@Ryukikon

?? Crossovers are not new and existed before that, Michael Jordan did crossovers on people and would have done it on Scottie pippen a lot. You just listed great players and that Pippen struggled with greats. The cross over is not new or over powered and was no transition in that sense.

In all fairness to Pippen, he had to take on Rodman AND Kobe at the same time. Rodman alone was enough to neutralize Pip's offense. But for Pippen to have to deal with both of these superstars was a bridge too far. Jordan could've managed it though...and that's why MJ will always be better than Pippen (AND Kobe), in my book. There was just nobody REALLY like MJ...before or since.
