As a Cub fan, my father would haul the family to Wrigley in the 60's, usually to a Sunday doubleheader. (More bang for the buck!) We'd always arrive extra early, just before the gates opened, so we could claim the best general admission seats along the third base line. (Smack dab behind where the Smokie Link cart would set up.) That meant that we'd always get to see the visitors batting practice. I saw Willie knock two or more balls into the bleachers when it was his turn, and then saw him steal home during the game. He was the greatest I've ever seen. ( p.s. Walter Payton should be on that top ten list. He was the most talented all-around football player to ever put on a helmet.)

To Michaels last point there really needs to be a happy medium of fair criticism but also being fair with the context.

"At 93, you don't want to go"? Kay clearly knows nothing about aging. The vast majority of 93 year olds are ready to move on.

To talk about potential career HRs for Willie and skip his time in the service is incompetent reporting.

He was a great ball player. Horrible to fans and always rude and nasty
