I watched Clean and Sober when I was two days sober. It made such a huge impression on me I am now 31 years sober. I love Michael Keaton. He did so much for newly sober people with that movie!!!

Gung Ho is an underrated comedy...he shouldn't be concerned that he didn't give a good performance there...he did. Clean And Sober would have given him his first Oscar nod had the internet been around then and had the movie been better promoted...crime that he didn't even get a nomination. Night Shift is a classic.

Watching Michael Keaton is like watching Ryan Reynolds and Mark Hamill. When you watch Keaton you see Beetlejuice peeking out at times, when watching Reynolds you see Deadpool peeking out and watching Hamill you see the Joker peeking out. Its like the person we see is a cover for what is underneath

Yes Jannel Riley is an excellent interviewer. But I do t know why I hadn’t guessed that Michael Keyton had such passion for acting as well as an active inventive mind. He’s always playing to the audience. It doesn’t matter who where or how little, he’s always trying to make his part bigger more involved. He couldn’t just take a even a bit part at face value. He’s increasing the storyline, thinking what is the motivation why or how did he get to this point. The director yells cut. “Just walk, just walk through the forest”. He’s making the audience howl with laughter because they know exactly where he’s coming from, as well as the director. With such an active imagination, it must be difficult to sleep at night. Lol he certainly had me laughing as well as everyone in the audience. Always playing to the audience, and always leave them wanting more. So funny 🤣. But he isn’t limited to comedy, he can take a serious part and scare the shit out of you as in “Pacific Heights”. Wow what an interesting mind and great talent. Wow he certainly hasn’t lost a thing, why hasn’t he been on the screen more. He certainly can draw an audience. Funny interesting intelligent man. Great actor that can take the audience on any journey with him. I’d still love me to see more of him.

He is my Beetlejuice (betelguese), he's my Batman, He's my Multiplicity and Mr. Mom and holy beans if you cant see how talented this man is it blows my mind. I have a director-minded uncle who actually pointed out all the movies when I was young. I didn't understand it then, i think i knew because I loved it even though it scared me, but this man is (excuse my french) a fucking treasure.

I have seen them all many many times. I also loved Gung Ho and just about everything I have ever seen him in. I will finally watch Birdman this week (pity it didn't play around here long if at all).

I think that he literally is the perfect character/personality to play Ray Kroc in Founder. I just think that is a great movie and Keaton nailed that role. The comedy Mr. Mom was good and yet I would like to see him in a comedy with a great script. Or a drama. Either that takes his "legendary status" to the next level. I've never met him yet I'm certainly tempted to say that he's a role model kind of a human being. I hope that there is a producer who has an upcoming script with Michael Keaton in mind to play an astute, driven, no b.s., articulate, business man with a level headed attitude and a tactful amount of healthy moxie. Similar to the movie Founder.

I assumed the character in Birdman was meant to be a really good actor that just never was given an opportunity to prove it, and that's the source of his unhappiness. If he was just a bad actor who lucked into a major role, he would become some kind of farcical character, amusingly above himself.
