SAVE DENMARK STREET
Michael Monroe (ex Hanoi Rocks) has a track on his new album called "Deadhearts on Denmark Street"
Denmark Street in London, “Tin Pan Alley”, is the birthplace of the British Music Industry
Many of the large music corporations started in the Street, many of our now world famous bands recorded their first tracks in the Street
But now it is under threat from property developers and London’s Crossrail Project
Michael came to visit the street to talk to the media and see the destruction for himself
As he says at the end "Don't let the music die on Denmark Street"
Michael's album "Blackout States" released on October 9th through Spinefarm Records - a division of Universal
We would like to thank Spinefarm Records and Universal for their help with the campaign
