Un album d'une énergie exceptionnelle, dans des modes musicaux envoutants, évocateurs d'une nouvelle nostalgie hyper-moderne, et incroyablement efficaces par leur continuelle suspension, mélodique et rythmique, de résolution (que certains ont du mal à supporter!) ! Un des meilleurs de Nyman sans doute (écouter aussi Ute Lemper chanter Nyman). C'était un choc lors de l'expo en 1989, à l'arche de la Défense toute neuve, la musique spacialisée accompagnant des vidéos saisissantes ! Nyman, en phase avec Greenaway: les deux était complètement en prise avec ces années qui voyaient la fin du rideau de fer, des perspectives inattendues, etl'éclosion du numérique et la musique .

I always loved the Ravenous soundtrack but never paid attention to the artists who created it. I am now finally realizing how great Michal Nyman is. this is so good.

Casi igual que Prospero's book , pero con una narrativa diferente. Sólo Nyman es capaz de hacer cosas así! Imprescindible e impresionante trabajo! Gracias por compartir!

I had a cassette too, it was stolen in my cabriolet a long long time ago, I replaced it with the cd, still have and love it !

Si senteno molto i suoi studi sulla musica minimalista. Minimi cambiamenti di una stessa frase che però poi cambia improvvisamente e viene sostituita da un altra. Diventa quasi un mantra da trance
