44:09 - Bragg says that 'dying for your art' (in The Red Shoes) seems morbid. Powell says he doesn't think it's morbid and 'I would do it myself'. Bragg looks at him for a moment and Powell says 'You don't believe me'.

Thank you for this! I taped it on slow-speed VHS on the original US broadcast on Bravo and this is the first time I've seen it clearly enough to really enjoy this brilliant and evocative visit with the great Archer.

The South Bank show has in part made appearances on U.S. Criterion Dvd editions of Powell and Pressburger films.
