Hi everyone! Heads up... during the lesson you will notice that I accidentally titled Sections 7 and 8 onscreen both as "Section 6." Sorry if that caused any confusion :) Also, I hope you like the enhanced format I'm trying out in this video where I actually spell out each note (where to play on fretboard) instead of having you rely primarily on just reading the tabs. I realize that this makes the video a little longer, but I've received feedback that this new format will be more helpful for a wider audience...specifically, to help those that can't read tablature and/or are less advanced. As always, I appreciate your input and feedback on these videos! :)

superb lesson as usual. shenker left UFO when i was too young to go to gigs but in 1997, before he left again, i saw them play a small venue in London. He didnt look well at the time but his playing and tone were awesome. Thanks again

@@PDXguitarfreak Some of the individual arpeggios and lead guitar licks from the 1978 "Strangers In the Night" live version of the UFO "Rock Bottom" guitar solo were uploaded in various different videos that different people uploaded to KZitem but I have never seen the entire UFO "Strangers In the Night" Rock Bottom guitar solo fully transcribed except in some very obscure Japanese language guitar tab books (there musicians in Japan and Korea who have transcribed the first two MSG albums as guitar tab books but these Japanese and Korean language guitar tab books are very obscure and very rare and very difficult to find so you have to make friends with one of the Japanese people on KZitem or Facebook to be be able to find someone who can read and write Japanese who can help you to find the very obscure Japanese language guitar tab books that exist for UFO and MSG and 1970's Uli Roth era scorpions). There was a Japanese guitar magazine called "Young Guitar" that had an entire issue of their magazine devoted to Michael Schenker lead guitar solos and the Japanese Young Guitar magazine issue for Michael Schenker had a music CD included with the magazine where the music CD had backing tracks and slowed down guitar solos and guitar riffs on it.

On the lick you are demonstrating at around 7.55 ,Michael Schenker plays a 15 on the third string rather than your 14 or at least he did on the 2022 live .This makes it easy using the second finger for both the 15th fret notes .
