Michele Stratico, a prolific composer for the violin, student of Tartini was of Greek descent. His father was from Crete and his mother from Chios, with her family house not far from Stefanou Estate that this video was recorded. The Nocturnalia Ensemble was invited by the Chios Music Festival to perform works by this composer in the atmospheric Rennaisance village of Kampos. This region, a significant agricultural and residential hub since the Byzantine era, is renowned for its citrus exports, which flourished during the Genoese occupation from the 14th to 16th centuries. The video features elements of the exhibition of Stratis Vogiatzis' "Kampos" curated by Dimitris Theodoropoulos. In this setting, Stratico's music interwined with the spirits of abandoned mansions, animals, trees, smells, forgotten dreams and rituals showcased in the exhibition.
