First of all, major props to whomever recommended that Smith do this interview. That's the behind the scenes stuff that's important. I wanted Urban but as an MSU alum I am VERY happy with this hire and he's certainly much younger than Urban which is a plus.

Man, you KNOW you enjoyed that beat-down. I certainly did! I'll meet you half way and say that after all is said and done the Monday morning at work is more fun after say a Michigan winning a game like 2018 when they were both ranked. But on gameday no, scoring touchdown after touchdown and relaxing in a rocking chair during the second half is much better. We may win many of the next matchups but few if any will be by half that margin.

Absolute garbage take. Conveniently forgot to even mention that the conference imploded (and for all intents and purposes is no more) and that their schedule for the foreseeable future is a flaming dumpster fire. As if these things dont matter and arent major contributing factors. You lost all credibility when you left that out. Then you bring up Chiles not playing but obviously he wasnt upset about it cause he followed Smith to MSU as did other players.

Going to need Coach D to impart his thoughts on the UM rivalry. Coach Smith needs to understand how important that game is as well as concretely talk about that to the fans and Alumni! When you can go toe to toe with them and beat them 2/3 of the time you are in contention for titles! Go Green!!

You clearly don’t listen much do you. He’s bashed Izzo for his lack of change and the mediocrity in the basketball program. He defended Izzo and Dantonio when they’re being lumped in with a guy like Nassar. And he criticized MSU and Dantonio for just rearranging the deck chairs and not embracing change and eventually leaving around signing day putting the football program in a bad spot. Go listen to his rant about John L Smith when he was coach. You’re clearly a Michigan fan who upset his program has been in the limelight for the wrong reasons this season. That’s on your coach Harbaugh.

@@CoD3x4life I like mike and Rico. Been listening to them for a few years. I prefer mike and Terry but Rico is ok. For the most part Mike does call it the way he sees it but he can be overly biased with his opinions. Granted, Mike is a MSU grad and everyone has their biases. He also gives credit where credit is do but he does have tendencies of being overly biased in his views at times. You can go back and find examples.
