Appreciate the video! What is the next show that you are heading to? I miss going to these shows! The one that my grandparents used to take me to all the time is the badger steam and gas engine show in Wisconsin if you have time to go to it I highly recommend it! Again appreciate the video I can smell the coal smoke from here!

Hey there Mark! 42:06 , S & M Corson on the shingle mill... family? Thanks for sharing 👍
@oldfarmshow
2 жыл бұрын
the shingle mill is a Ireland Machine & Foundry Co., Inc. Norwich, NY, my family is from Maine NY; my Grandfather was Seward M. Corson, also now as Sawmill Corson. his business was SM Corson. My father and myself found this mill through a friend back in the town of Maine NY; it was 100% in parts. we brought in back to Crown Point IN in the back of my Pickup truck. and put in to gather ; had to find a shingle blade. had to made some parts. My father's name is Seward after his Father; my name is 'Mark'. to pay Honor to my Grandfather and family , I place S & M Corson Maine NY on most of the equipment that we restore

The case at 21:17 is that 110 hp version? The first steam traction engine that I have ever encountered was the 75 hp version and that moment has stuck in my head for years now!
