@x Michigan Stadium, biggest stadium in the U.S. with a capacity of 107,601 people. That’s a lot of people singing Mr. Brightside. And that is a big reason why I 1) am a Michigan fan, and 2) love college football. I hope to experience it one day.

Learn a few American Football rules, watch some condensed American Football games and book a trip to the Big House in Ann Arbor, Michigan - then you can sing along with the crowd and be a part of it all. Might I suggest Ninh Ly's "Rules of American Football - Explained"...he's from the UK and does a fantastic job of condensing the most important rules into a short video

Not all students. Colleges sports programs get insane loyalty from alumni, alumni family, and the surrounding community, so a little less than half of the approximately 110,000 in attendance 9/11/21 could actually attend the school (U of M has 50,000 enrolled this year). The rest are all non-student fans.

I wonder what the most amount of people to sing a song at once is. There’s a chance that this might be it since there is about 100,000 people in attendance, just a matter of how many of which were singing edit: the record is under 5,000 so if somebody were to nominate this for the record it would probably win edit: According to guiness book of records “The most people singing in a round is 4,166 participants and was achieved by the government of Turkmenistan (Turkmenistan), at Türkmen's Ak Öýü in Mary, Turkmenistan, on 26 November 2015.”

Some years ago they were playing it over the public address system during a television commercial time-out, and the large Michigan crowd was singing along. When the TV coverage returned, the system stopped playing the song, but the crowd continued singing it to the end. The following week they did it again, even louder. Since then, it's become a tradition. They now also play it during UM basketball and hockey games.
